One of the liveliest areas in London, Covent Garden is a former fruit and vegetable market converted into a showcase of British retail and pub life. Here, you will find high street shops in old converted houses and 16th and 17th Century pubs that still serve ale. The London Transport Museum and the Royal Opera House are both to be found here. In the summer, buskers show off their performing skills in the square, adding to the city's festivities.
Your Apart’Hotel is a short walk to Oxford Street, one of London's main shopping streets. And when you feel like a little ancient history, pop into the British Museum which houses the largest Ancient Egyptian collection in the world. When the sun goes down, head to the Covent Garden area which offers you numerous restaurants, cinemas and jazz clubs, all close to your hotel.

“Best stay in London”
We've stayed at a number of so called 4 * Hotels in London and none of them can measure up to this. Very obliging staff and the rooms are great.
“Comfortable and convenient”
The hotel has really benefitted from recent refurbishment. Our basic studio was bright and clean, with effective air-con/heating and a big window for fresh air, opening onto a courtyard/low-level roof which is trying to be a 'roof garden' for adjacent offices. Queen-size Bed was comfy, the space foam mattress made it extra warm and we kicked off the duvet one night! Crisp white bedlinen and good pillows. Kitchenette was great for breakfast and adequate for cooking convenience meals from nearby supermarket (Waitrose is directly across the road, and there is a crossing just beside the hotel entrance) on one night when we were too tired to eat out. Stocking our fridge with supermarket drinks was infinitely nicer than having a mini-bar. The desk/table and chairs are OK for eating, but not for relaxing, however the downstairs lounge is spacious and comfortable. Images of larger studios and apartments suggest chairs/sofa for relaxation and we might up-grade if we were staying longer. Bathroom was a good size, towels medium size, changed daily, shower over bath was effective but shower screen+shower curtain combination needed to floor dry. Excellent hair-dryer but it could not be plugged in beside a mirror. These are very minor niggles, quite outweighed by the cleanliness, convenience, location and value for money of our stay. We plan to stay there again in April 2012, when we are over for a wedding and have already recommended it for other guests.
“A regular favourite”
We use this Citadines frequently because of location, good value and facilities nearby. It is a convenient solution for short stays in London and there are some marvellous London places - within very easy reach and some great restaurants and shops.
“Friendly and comfortable place”
I eniyed my stay here. Will stay again.
“OK Plus”
very central to everything. AC/heating going its own way. ( second stay already). cracked teapot replaced two days later ( with one without lid).
“good room, great location”
Good sized comfortable room, premier studio, with plenty of space. great location near Holborn tube station. Definitely stay there again.
“We may come again.”
Very convenient to meet our needs on our visit. Liked the idea of the freedom it gave us re meals. However, you need to check on the microwave in room 323. It doesn't seem to heat /cook the food as well as it should have without additional time being added. We ordered and paid for a premier studio on line but we couldn't find our whether the room we had was premier or or standard. It would be nice to know the difference between these categories and which room 323 fell into. Enjoyed having good coffee and free internet access available at any time as part of the deal. Did not enjoy being woken up by the sound of the bin collection outside our window in the morning. The TV in the room was irritatingly small with no sky options.
“Ideal short stay”
The hotel is in a good location. It has a comfortable lounge area with coffee, work areas etc. and helpful, friendly desk staff. Facilities in kitchenette were more than adequate for short stays. The bed could have been more comfortable but overall great value for money in an excellent location.
“A useful aparthotel in Bloomsbury”
It's a few years since I've stayed there and I like the studios as they have a cooker and fridge. The rooms have been improved since my last stay. Just two problems: there were no drinking glasses andwe could not get hot water in the bath, just lukewarm, no matter how long we let the taps run.
“careful of the cheating receptionists!!”
had a bad experience basically. asked for a taxi, so the receptionist rings up his taxi mate who takes us from holborn to euston road for 12 quid. now thats a rip off, considering we were on our way to the hospital i couldnt be bothered to argue. needless to say the return taxi was 7 quid (at 3am aswell - the other was daytime). on top of that, they had no clue about london when asked, they would respond by asking 'what tube stop is it near?'. the woman who checked us in was nice though. it seemed they didnt bother to air the room, so it stank of some strange mix of spices from the previous tenants cooking/body odour not sure which. on the plus side, the hotel is in a great location, a few mins walk from oxford street, and just next to holborn tube stop.
