“After we eventually found our room....”
I thought the room was quite expensive but had left it til the last minute to book a hotel so figured it would do. Room was right at the top of the building but an absolute nightmare to get to. Got lost everytime without fail. Not bad if you just want somewhere to crash but room was not great. Bathroom/wet room was tiny with a leaky toilet and not even a proper shower just a curtain you pull across the room. Blinds across the windows didn't meet the window sill and let in cold air - not brilliant on a cold rainy October night!! In all honesty I think if you need to stay in the Victoria area there are better places to be.
“OK for the price”
You don't get much for your money in London. If you're on a budget, this place is as good as any. Not fancy but no problems. WiFi only works in the loby.
“Very Very Poor”
We found our first room very noisey and very small, when we complained nothing was done. We complained again and asked to speak a supervisor to be told the are NO supervisors that work weekends! On our last night we moved rooms to a larger quieter room only to be burst in on by the cleaners. Not a good hotel at all.
“Not worth the trip”
We stayed in this hotel over new years. We do not have high expectations as we are just using the room to sleep and often don't stay there during the day. However, this hotel was the worst we've stayed in in london. First, the pipes are quite loud so if anyone flushed the loo in a neighbouring room you would here it for the next 5 minutes. Not that great if you're a very light sleeper and wake at the slightest noise. The worst thing was that when our room was cleaned the door was left ajar. We complained about this as we could have had all our belongings stolen and just got a simple 'Oh, sorry about that' and the subject was considered closed. You also have to pay to use the safe in the room. The beds are very very uncomfortable also but on the one plus the room was clean.
