We chose Bloombsbury because it was an affordable place to stay outside of London central. We were happy with our choice. It's just a short 2-3 minute walk from Goodge Station, so we could get anywhere we needed to quickly and easily. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance as well. It is a walk-up - no lift - and we were on the 3rd floor so getting up there with our luggage was a bit rough, but otherwise no big issues. If that's a problem for you, make sure you request a lower floor. They offer a simple continental breakfast at no cost, so that was nice on the days we had to rush out to catch a train. Check-in and check-out were easy; staff were friendly.

Centrally located, within walking distance of Euston, Euston Square, Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street tube stations. Also < 5 minute walk to the British museum. Was in a single room, small but with all amenities. Very clean and modern bathroom fixtures. Breakfast is fairly good and enough to get a head start.

It seems like no one cares about the hotel,some bathroom fixtures were not screwed down properly and the nightstand light was also not attached so it was crooked. The room wasn't particularly clean either, the bathroom didn't have a shelf or a door hook to hang towels etc. There is no hot breakfast served.

Good, clean room and location for access to transit. Quiet enough considering the city location. Staff were pleasant but don’t expect outstanding service on that part. Good value for price point.

Basic but fine; tiny space
The hotel was clean and fine, but the room was tiny. For just under $300 I expected more space. The bed was against the wall so I had to climb over my husband to get out. I also spilled water on the bed in the middle of the night because the nightstand was right up against the bed with no other space near it. The plugs didn’t fit an adapter so we charged our phones one by one from the hallway as well. The location was good and safe and they did let us leave our luggage during the day when we had a tour. They also had included breakfast which was basic but nice to have something on the go.

The room had bad damp on the walls with bubbled paint and stains. It was right by the bed where you slept. I reported it to reception who said they hadn’t known. However this damp doesn’t appear over night and had clearly been like it for a while.

Room wasnt great but the staff were.
Before I start I'd like to say the staff were great the room was clean. I knew the room would be small but wasn't expecting how small it really was. I also found it hard to sleep, because traffic noise was really loud and the windows didn't seem to block the noise.

Nice place overall
Its decent. I wished i didnt guve less than 5 star on any point cause they did well. Just that an intercom was not in the room during my stay,and they promised to address it. But during the one night spent there, it wasnt.

Bloomsbury hotel/ Arran hotel
This was meant to be a 4* hotel when we arrived I was not impressed at all more like a boarding house than a hotel, at time of check in we were told there had been a leak in our room and we had to be moved from 29 Gower Street to another hotel in the group at 77 Gower Street, we hoped this might have been an improvement but even worse. No bar,very old fashioned worn carpets throughout, the bathroom was tiny and had a huge stair into it. Bedding clean, there was a double and 2 single beds cushions and throws smelt very fusty! Dinning room was like something from 50's with plastic table Covers and badly in need of repair. This would qualify as a 2-3* B and B. We were extremely disappointed and will not use expedition again as the description they gave of hotel was nothing like it.

Benutze Tassen werden stegen gelassen. Der Boden wurde während des ganzen Aufenthaltes nicht gesaugt. Spinnenweben an den Ecken. Die Mülleimer wurden nicht geleert. Das Bett wurde nicht richtig ordentlich gemacht. An der Decke im Bad plättert die Farbe ab. Die Klimaanlage ist defekt und nach Mitteilung an der Rezeption hat sich daran auch nichts geändert.

ヒースロー空港から、トッテムナムコートロード駅までエリザベスラインで一本、エスカレーターあり、ホテルまでは10分程ですが平坦です。 チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってもらい有効に過ごせます。大英博物館は徒歩5分程。ホテルの近辺は静かですが、駅方面に少し歩けばスーパーやお店が沢山あります。(トッテムナムコート駅は中心部です)。  部屋は小さいけど、予想外に綺麗で設備も新しい方だと思います(ロンドンは建物が古いので)。 朝食が付いていましたが、こちらも清潔感があり充実した内容になっていました。 この駅で安いところを探していた私には少し予算オーバーではありましたが、とても満足できるホテルでした。また泊まりたいです。

Although it is called "Palace", the hotel is rather simple and a little run-down in some places. This explains the favourable price. The breakfast was rather basic. However, the triple room was quiet with very cosy beds and the bathroom was clean. The service was very good. A small complaint was dealt with immediately and in a friendly manner.

I have stayed at many different budget hotels across central London and this was the best one yet in terms of quality. Location was great with proximity to public transport and the area feels safe for a solo traveler at night.
