“A few bumps but comfortable”

We stayed at the Blakemore on our trip to London due to its central location. This is clearly a budget no-frills hotel, which is beginning to become a bit run down, but the rooms are kept very clean. We were not told prior to our stay that the building next door was being renovated, so our time in the room was accompanied by the sound of jackhammers or something that sounded like that. Still, we didn't go to London to spend all of our time in a hotel. Service was relatively good, but our request for a wake up call was forgotten the day of our departure. Overall, if you are looking for something cheap and central, the Blakemore is a good place to stay.

“Upgraded?”

Dit was de 2e maal dat we in dit hotel verbleven Maar dit keer duidelijk minder tevreden dan een half jaar eerder. Volgens de receptie konden we echt niet voor 3 uur op onze kamer,en moesten dus 1 1/2 uur rondhangen voor we onze "upgraded " room in konden Mooie, schone, pas gerenoveerde kamer dat wel,maar wel met een vuilperscontainer onder het raam die 's nachts elk kwartier aan het werk ging. Omdat alles "vol " was konden we niet verhuizen.echter Expedia gaf aan dat er nog kamers te boeken waren! Uitslapen was er niet bij want de renovatie is nog in volle gang. Bedden erg zacht Toch aanrader Via de nabij gelegen Underground-Central line- veel bezienswaardigheden in no time te bereiken maar vermijdt kamer 220
