“Don't Waste Your Money”

The pictures of the rooms are very deceptive. This hotel is old, outdated and uncomfortable. The bathroom was like a closet, the air conditioning did not work - even after the front desk was alerted and stated they would look into it immediately. The breakfast was expensive and definitely not worth the money. On the plus side, if you are wanting to be in the theatre district this is the hotel for you - very convenient for the theatre but then again there are countless other hotel options available in the immediate area. Would not recommend...

“HOTEL FOR LITTLE PEOPLE”

Junior suite was way too small. No room to even walk around the bed. Had trouble with the bathroom flushing . The employees were very nice. Hotel was in a perfect location. I just wish that the rooms were bigger. They said that the junior suite was the biggest room in the hotel. A lot of $. All in all we had a great time in London.

Area recommendations
Piccadilly Circus. Best area. Everything is in this neighborhood. Theatre, restaurants, people watching, and all kinds of stores.
Getting around
My family used the cab service. The drivers are so nice and they show you all the sights . We also took the site seeing bus on our first day .
What to pack
Always carry an umbrella. We went in July and it was cold and rainy every day. I had to buy a sweatshirt with a hood. Don't leave home without it. Long pants and sneakers.

“Excellent Location - Excellent Hotel - Excellent Value”

The hotel was extremely helpful - I arrived from the US shortly after 6am and they were happy to hold onto my bags and process everything for check in before any rooms were ready. They were able to provide me with a room well before normal check-in (11am). The room was immaculate and well set for comfort and function. While on the small side, it was well worth the location and the comfort of the bed. They had free internet which was excellent and helpful for me to be able to plan the rest of my time in europe. This was the second time I stayed there and I will look to this hotel again in the future for my needs while in London.

“Worst price/room size ratio ever”

Ridiculously small room where it is hard to have 2 pieces of luggage. Had to wait 5 hours to get internet to work, and then all of Picadilly lost its internet access. Personnel is nice and location convenient, but the price to room size it really ridiculous.

“London 2010”

I traditionally go for more of a grand hotel, but this hotel was excellent. The rooms were small, but in Europe that's to be expected. The staff was helpful and greeted us with smiles all the time. The rooms were clean and the bathroom had a heated towel rack and TV. It is very close to the Theatre District and walking distance to plenty of nice pubs. I will be very tempted to stay there again.

“Great location - nice hotel”

This hotel was really nice and in a great location. It's close to Picadilly Circus which has the closest subway entrance. It's only a few blocks away so that is how we did all of our traveling in town. Also, lots of good choices to eat in the vicinity and there are several good bars around as well.

“Not impressed”

Terrible staff, not helpful or knowledgeable. The "lift" was broken for a week - unacceptable in downtown London.

“Wonderful theater weekend hotel”

The staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room was well equipped and clean while the breakfast buffet was more than we are use to getting while in europe. The location is magnificent and we were within easy walking distance of all the shows we wanted to see. It was great and we will return.

“Hôtel central-petites chambres mais à prendre pour tourisme”

Hôtel extrêmement bien situé. Chambre single à lit double propre mais de taille surprenante car extrêmement réduite à un point tel que s'y déplacer est difficile: impossible d'ouvrir ma petite valise sur le sol ou sur le tabouret à bagages: la superficie libre est inexistante. Distances à partir du lit: 1 m à droite vers la fenêtre, 20 cm devant vers le bureau et 30 cm à gauche vers la porte accordéon de la tout aussi petite salle-de-bain. Lavabo à mains, pas pour se laver, toilette et douche. Sinon, petit-déjeûner à une dizaine de livres en sous-sol: correct. Bouteilles d'eau de courtoisie dans la chambre, fruits et café gratuits. T.V. n'offrant que 5-6 chaînes gratuites, pas de satellite. Personnel courtois. Honnêtement, hôtels à recommander si on n'y fait que dormir ou si on est prêt à rester sur le lit. Voir s'il y a des chambres plus grandes avec baignoire. Si la chambre donnant sur la rue, l'agitation londonienne s'y invite.
