“Excellent Hotel - Should be 4 Star!”

Excellent hotel - should be upgraded to a 4 star. The room and bathroom was very clean, with clean soft towels, and an excellent central location just 1 minute from Bayswater tube. You will never regret staying here - Best Western's Phoenix Hotel in Bayswater is by far the best hotel in the area after the big brands like Hilton, 4 Seasons etc - this hotel is not far behind them!

“Good value hotel”

We've stayed at the Phoenix many times - it offers good value in a central location close to the tube and with plenty of good shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

“Great Hotel”

The Phoenix is close to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations. The Whiteley shopping centre is close by and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants just round the corner in either Queensway or Westbourne Grove. Whenever we visit London the Phoenix is always our first choice. It's in a great location and it's excellent value for money!

“Great location , nice hotel”

The hotel itself is very clean and nice. It is fairly basic but for the price it is extremely good value. The location is the real selling point. It is 5 minutes walk to bayswater tube station and 10 minutes to queensway tube station. The area has many, many restaurants and shops and even has a shopping centre with a cinema at the bottom of the road. Cannot recommend it enough.

We booked only the day before. Our room was at the back of the hotel with only roof top vews, but for one night this was fine and it was quiet as we requested. The room was small but comfy and adequate - the bathroom in particular though was very small - a room not for those who - how shall I say - over indulge in cuisine . The lift was small and very hot - no aircon. The B/Fast was fine, nothing special, a bit cramped in the basement but the staff efficient and friendly. For a hotel nr Hyde Pk the price was good value and we would stay again.

Great location near Bayswater. The room is small but adequate. the hotel has a good breakfast. Overall I will come back here in the near future.

“Nice Hotel”

Nice little hotel in a really good convenient location. Good value for money compared other hotels of the same the price range. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was spotless as was the bathroom. The room was a little small but you expect this in period buildings, the only fault I'd have is that the rooms get extremely hot in fine weather, maybe fans would be worthwhile as there is no air conditioning. The location is great, Whiteleys shopping centre is close by as is Queensway which is buzzing with cheap eats for tourists. Really close to Hyde Park. Queensway and Bayswater stations are a short walk away. Recommended.

“Clean, comfortable hotel in convenient location”

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a good sized restaurant. There was a good selection of breakfast foods available. All of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was only 300 yards or so from the nearest underground, so it was convenient for sightseeing. It is also very close to an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants. I would stay here again.

The staff weren't particularly friendly, but the hotel was in a good location and the room was clean and reasonably comfortable. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy.
