“Avonmore Hotel”

The hotel was extremely dirty and uninviting. Upon entering our room you see tons of water damage on the walls, what looked like blood stains on the comforter, and deteriorating window treatments. The bathroom was the same way with the sink knobs and faucet loosely connecting, making it hard to use. We did not use the shower. It is right next to a train station, so you hear trains going by constantly, something not mentioned on Expedia. The surrounding neighborhood was nice and it was a close walk to restaurants.

Très bon compromis prix / commodité pour visiter Londres. Vraiment très calme. Accueil sympathique. Un petit déjeuner très british. Seul bémol : la salle de bain commune.

Hotel dans un quartier relativement calme, malgré une voie ferrée à proximité (peu de passage vraisemblablement). Assez proche du centre de Londres, mais attention toutefois car accessible par le métro (West Kensigton) sur une ligne a plusieurs embranchements, donc moins de fréquence de passage. Idéalement situé pour aller au centre des expositions de Earl's Court. Il s'agit d'une maison particulière transformée en hôtel, donc peu de chambres et hors des standards "Hôtels de chaînes". Ambiance un peu "familiale", accueil correct par un couple, Madame à la réception et contacts clients, Monsieur aux fourneaux et leur enfant n'étant jamais très loin.

“altes abgenutztes hotel mit mini-zimmer”

das hotel liegt günstig ist jedoch alt und abgenutzt und sehr hellhörig. dazu musste ich mit toilette und bad teilen. die toilette hatte dazunoch eine super komische wasserspülung. wenn sich der zimmernachbar im bett dreht, meint man er liegt neben einem. das gilt auch für das zimmer darüber. das einzelzimmer hatte eine fläche von ca. 6-7 qm
