“Great little hotel, fantastic location”

I absolutely loved this little hotel, the staff were wonderful and so helpful. The room, although slightly on the small side, was beautifully clean and very comfortable, Best of all was the central location of the hotel, so close to Paddington train and underground stations and also Hyde Park. I will definately stay there again, what a superb find!!

“Good value hotel in convenient location”

Good value hotel in convenient location between Lancaster Gate & Paddington. Friendly reception staff. Basic buffet breakfast (with "full English" also available. Note that there are no lifts, and some rooms are up on 3rd floor, so would not recommend for people with reduced mobility

“Great Location”

We stayed at the Adare Hotel for 4 night in Aug and found it to be a good hotel. The location was great, this was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel its location and train connections and it worked out great being just a few blocks from Paddington Station train and tube. The hotel does need some improvements but I was happy with it and would glady stay there again. Yes the rooms are small and there are no elevators but what do you expect this is a very old house turned into a hotel! I felt very safe in this area travelling with my husband and our 10 year old daughter. On the street just down from the hotel there are some great places to eat or pick up snacks. My husband liked the breakfast each morning . Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to tell people about this hotel. Just keep an open mind considering the prices in London this was a good hotel!

“Stairs, stairs and more stairs.”

This hotel is in a great location. It is on a street with dozens of other similar hotels near Paddington Station. Lots of places nearby to eat and drink. If you don't do stairs, however, this is not the place for you. Bed was very comfortable.

“IDEAL FOR A BASE TO EXPLORE LONDON”

Firstly, this hotel wasn't the Ritz or the Radisson, but that doesn't make it a dive. For a London hotel it is very cheap, in a very quiet, salubrious and safe inner-city neighbourhood, making it an ideal base from which to explore the city. Being a stones throw from Paddington train and tube station means that it is in easy reach of all the cities major attractions. We had a few queries during our stay and the desk staff were exceptionally helpful, polite and courteous. If you want somewhere where you can just drop your bags, crash for a few nights (and save a couple of quid in the process) whilst you enjoy what London has to offer, you could do worse than stay at the Adare.

“would go back.”

This hotel was just average for Europe, but I was looking for a great location, great price and a clean room, which I got at this hotel. We were only at the hotel for showering and sleeping. My kids loved the free English breakfast the hotel offered every morning.

“Basic london hotel”

If you're from america you may be expecting something classier, but its your basic hotel. Rooms are small, but that is just Europe! Really wonderful location, just 2 blocks from paddington station, we are mid 20s and we found this a little noisy, but not bad, much better than hostels! S our standards are pretty low? But really, great stay, but basic, breakfast was very nice, friendly staff. Bathrooms are small but should be expected!

“Alright for central London”

the hotel was great value concidering the proximity to Paddington station. the rooms are very dated and in need to be updated. the staff were all really friendly and were always on hand if you needed any assistance. you are able to leave your luggage in the hotel if you have a later flight but they are left by the side of the stairs.

“Convenient but cold”

The hotel is only 2 block from Paddington station. This makes for great convenience. However, do not stay in room 9 during the cold season. That room is exceptionally cold and the temperature cannot be adjusted.
