Generally a great place to stay. Enjoyed my stay there in the spacious rooms, clean carpet, mini kitchen set up, spacious bathroom and a comfortably sized TV. The service staff are awesome and very friendly except for some minor hiccups when we ask for a technician to look at our refrigerator that is not refrigerating. The hotel is located not quite near to the Waterloo Underground Station. The plus point about Waterloo Station is that it sits smack in the middle of many other train lines. It is beneficial because it gives you many options and reduce the amount of train transfers you have to make just to get to one place. The hotel doesn't have any carpark, so if you drive you have to get it valet (oh well most tourist like me prefer to take the underground lines). The hotel is generally very crowded in the lobby and even on week nights it is relatively packed. The worst thing about the hotel is the interior design of the bedroom that I slept in. This is because instead of just having a plain cupboard door with the usual wood or PVC finish we have the head of a lady in monochromatic tone. It gave me the freaks when I woke up in the middle of the night to see the huge head of a woman staring over the bed from the side.
Even though the hotel has some short comings, but for the value, it is very very well worth the stay and I do actually look forward to stay there again on my next visit to London.
The hotel was booked for a weekend stay to celebrate my partners 40th birthday. From the moment we arrived to the time we collected our luggage and changed back into our leisure wear using the hotels facilities (were able to leave our luggage at the hotel whilst we went for afternoon tea at the Ritz and watch Thriller!) we felt both welcomed and valued.
I had taken banners and balloons to decorate our room but was unable to prepare the room without my partners knowledge so I contacted reception and Jessica recommended I speak to the care team. Needless to say I was visited within ten minutes and the room was prepared for our return!
We had an executive room that had certain 'perks' e.g free drinks and snacks and a seperate breakfast area, we would definitely utilise these during our next stay (we didn't have time due to our busy schedule!)
A great hotel. Fairly recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff are unassuming and always keen and pleased to help and assist. Situated close enough to attractions, restaurants and good communications links so that walking is an option.
The bars have a great choice of cocktails and a relaxed, easy atmosphere; the staff being very knowledgable and helpful in assisting decision making.
We enjoyed every single day that we were at the Harrington Hall Hotel. There were many good shops and restaurants a few minutes away, and it was very easy to get to the other parts of London, either by bus or the Underground. We did lots of exploring in the six days that we were there, and we felt very fortunate to have found such a nice hotel.
"Lovel hotel in the south west corner of Hyde Park"
The hotel is very well situated on the south west corner of Hyde Park. It's right across the street from the park, a few streets away from Royal Albert Hall, and a short 7 minute walk from the Gloucester tube station. The hotel itself is very nice. The room was clean and lovely, with a modern bathroom and closet facilities. Reception/Concierge was very attentive and helpful.
The Hotel is close to Queensgate Underground, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. breakfast although only had continental was as good as anticipated, the rooms and bathroom were very clean and up to date. If there is a minor quibble, it could be that the particular room allocated was at basement level my review would be 4.5
really helpful guy in reception, let me have a late checkout, and minded a case for me to let me explore. He also gave me a map and took time to explain the bus routes and locations for where I wanted to go. room was absolutely fine, a good choice especially if you fancy doing some self catering. Lots of places nearby to get food. really good for a business or tourist visitor, really well located.
