My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Paddington for the weekend while we were in London. We ended up booking a junior suite which was spacious and a great place to relax after running all over London during the days.
Great location across from Green Park within walking distance of Harrods, Buckingham Palace, other sights, and easy access to subway. A lot of cool restaurants and pubs in the Mayfair area a few minutes walk away. The rooms are nicely appointed, very good restaurant, very accommodating and helpful staff. I would definitely stay at the Athenaeum again.
The Bridge Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are shared, but they are well maintained. Plenty of warm water. Reception is available 24 hours. Every day I received new fresh fruit in a bowl and water bottles. I really recommend this hotel which is really close to the London Eye (approximately 15 minutes by walking) and other sights. Hotel located in a safe area.
The 3 Star Bridge Hotel is located in the heart of London; near world-famous sights; offering comfortable accommodation at …More
Right outside Victoria station, quick check in, room very comfortable with excellent very powerful hot shower.
Nice breakfast and quick check out. Good location for West end. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Enjoyed a weekend stay here, so close to Covent Garden that you can walk into the theatres shops etc
The suites were well appointed and comfortable
Afternoon tea was quirky and enjoyed by all in the party
The personal attention from staff was phenomenal. Personal handwritten notes, a gift part way through our stay, and an invitation to the Christmas tree lighting party really added to our London experience. We were steps from the tube and only a few minutes walk from Covent Garden and the Theatres. All the staff from the Concierge desk to housekeeping were friendly and professional. The Rosewood is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and well appointed.
Where to begin... I was SO sad when I checked out, because I'd had SUCH a nice stay that I didn't want to leave.
I travel to London frequently so 1) I know what typical central London hotels are like and 2) I'm simply unwilling to spend over $200 (USD) a night on a single room during off-season. I've stayed in some pretty crazy places, and my prorities are privacy, cleanliness, and security. The night I stayed at Mornington, in fact, I had stayed in 2 different hotels that week. All were in the $90-150 (USD) a night range (you're just not getting cheaper than that in Central London unless your standards are really low). My room at Mornington was small, but extremely well-appointed. The en-suite shower and toilet was shocking spacious (no tiny London stall!), and very modern. The actual bedroom was small, but not nearly as small as most. There was a single bed (sooo comfortable too), a suitcase stand, a chair in the corner, a desk, and a night stand. Without any furniture the room would have been abnormally large for a London room, with, there was about 3 feet of clearance all around the bed. I had a nice window to get fresh air, a large flat-screen TV, and a phone in my room. Clever storage maximizes the space (hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and safe in closet. Kettle and service inside the large desk door).
Me and my son stayed 3 nights at Club Quarters St. Pauls. The hotel was just perfect for what we needed and defiantly recommended for anyone traveling for several days of fun in London city center.
The location was central and the room was clean and comfortable.
Most noticeable was the family atmosphere, hotel staff were all extremely friendly. Special thanks to Tiago!
