Like the hotel. The room was a little bit small(which is common in London) , but very functional and well designed. Nice modern bathroom They have very good mattresses, we enjoyed sleeping there. Great location, close to restaurants and underground.
The hotel is an excellent choice and is centrally located.
It has an excellent breakfast and the price is reasonable. . Don' t the breakfast at the reception desk . In stead buy it from the front desk. The prrice is cheaper
I was in London last week for business and randomly chose the ME on Expedia. I didn't really know what to expect. Immediately upon arrival I began to realize what an stellar lodging I had stumbled upon. Modern, clean, chic, sexy -- those are just a few words I would use to describe the place.
The reception desk is located within a massive pyramid of stone extending up 9 stories to a skylight. In the evenings, they have a reception there and project an amazing lightshow up onto the walls. It is really cool!!
There is a FANTASTIC rooftop restaurant featuring a terrace offering amazing views of London. It was a great spot for entertaining my clients.
A note on the staff -- they were all so nice and accommodating. At first one might think that because they are all young and beautiful and wearing mostly black that they might be snobby, but that was not at all the case. They all seemed to have a relaxed ease and were perfectly in-tune with making everything just right for their guests.
If you are looking for something traditional or a place to stay with young children this may not be a good fit -- as I said before, it is modern, chic and sexy. Not that children wouldn't enjoy themselves - it just seemed to be a very adult-oriented kind of place.

I arrived and found a very fast and efficient member of staff for check in. My room was very clean if a little dated. I could here my neighbours talking next door so put on the air-con to cool down the room and drown them out.
I had a great sleep and had a pleasant breakfast. Not sure it was worth the £££ I paid.
Hotel staff were friendly and professional, we were able to check in early and had access to our room immediately we were allocated room 414, at the back of the hotel, comfy bed and everything you need for a weekend break, the carpet in the room is a little tired but that is my only criticism. We would have no hesitation in using the hotel again, and we are looking forward to our next visit
We stayed in an Executive room (approx. 50sqm). Nice hallway and walk-in robe, very spacious bedroom and bathroom with separate toilet and shower. The room was absolutely gorgeous, high quality and pleasant neutral décor. There was nothing to fault. The hotel is quite large and slightly impersonal. Found the check-in staff a touch 'cold' without being rude. Having said that the rest of the service during our stay was friendly and impeccable. The room was a touch pricey however it was worth it. The location was fabulous, walking distance to just about everything and the rooms were totally welcoming, spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would most definitely stay here again when I visit London.
I do wish to touch on one unfortunate experience upon check-in that could have been handled a lot better. We arrived after a long flight with 2yr old twins and were informed that our room wouldn't be ready for 20mins. No big deal, so we went to the restaurant to have lunch, we were exhausted and hungry. When we returned 45mins later our room was still not ready, it would take another 20 minutes of waiting. I found it interesting that none of the check-in staff showed us to a comfortable waiting area (given that one of twins was asleep in my arms), offered us a drink or at least a snack for the kids. We made no fuss, but a small gesture in such a situation can mean a lot (hence the "impersonal" experience).
We are an elderly couple and were celebrating our Golden Wedding.
We had a very comfortable room, the beds were lovely and comfy. We don't eat big breakfasts and were delighted to be offered 'light' breakfasts by the restaurant staff.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The situation of the hotel is very good, within a short walk to Green Park, St James Park and Hyde Park. We enjoyed walking round the nearby streets and relaxing in Berkeley Square.
