Totally recommend this place, location, staff , food excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer. I will be going back for sure. If you are looking for a value for money B & B you don't need to look any further.
Thanks for a wonderful stay

Conviniant for tourists, who use coach traveling. Wonderful clean, supportive staff for leaping the baggage to the end of the day and basics, but all you need for breakfast. Great Price for central London!

We stayed just one night and did not use the hotel facilities. However the staf were extremely helpful and courteous and room was quiet and well equipped. Location is not perfect as its a 10min walk to the tube and taxis are not passing by regularly. However the concierge was very helpful and found a taxi for us at a very busy time. My only complaint is that the air conditioning in the room was very noisy.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I had a great three nights here. The road was quiet and you'd never know you were in the middle of London. The room was of a good size with a sink and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful, swapping my room so I could be on the ground floor (large suitcase) last minute and they put an extra heater in my room for me to warm it up a bit. I had a super time here and I recommend it.
The single bed was a little small, barely enough floor space for a larger suitcase. The facility was clean, staff was nice, and price good, just a little small. Good if your looking for a nice inexpensive place to return to after a day of exploring or just passing through.
Really pleasant place to stay. Rooms are small, but they have a lift, coffee in the room, great water pressure and the staff is very nice - especially Archie! Plus, it is only 2 blocks from the Bayswater tube station. Highly recommended.
Where to begin... I was SO sad when I checked out, because I'd had SUCH a nice stay that I didn't want to leave.
I travel to London frequently so 1) I know what typical central London hotels are like and 2) I'm simply unwilling to spend over $200 (USD) a night on a single room during off-season. I've stayed in some pretty crazy places, and my prorities are privacy, cleanliness, and security. The night I stayed at Mornington, in fact, I had stayed in 2 different hotels that week. All were in the $90-150 (USD) a night range (you're just not getting cheaper than that in Central London unless your standards are really low). My room at Mornington was small, but extremely well-appointed. The en-suite shower and toilet was shocking spacious (no tiny London stall!), and very modern. The actual bedroom was small, but not nearly as small as most. There was a single bed (sooo comfortable too), a suitcase stand, a chair in the corner, a desk, and a night stand. Without any furniture the room would have been abnormally large for a London room, with, there was about 3 feet of clearance all around the bed. I had a nice window to get fresh air, a large flat-screen TV, and a phone in my room. Clever storage maximizes the space (hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and safe in closet. Kettle and service inside the large desk door).
