“Awesome!. Had the time of my life.. We will be back!!”

Thank you Expedia for recommending this hotel. I believe it was even better then going to Vegas!. All of the employees were so cheerful and they even called us when we arrived to our room and wanted to make sure it was to our expectations. We cant wait to go back real soon.

Area recommendations

Defanately Chumash Casino, and Solvang, and a must for restaurants Anderson's Pea soup. This was just a overnight trip and we did everything in 1 day and 1 night to celebrate our 27th Wedding Anniversary. Just simply amazing!

Must see

Definately go to Chumash Casino in A.M. as early as possible. ( It starts getting crowded by 10:00 A. M.) Then drive to Anderson's Pea soup Restaurant all the pea soup you can eat and bread, Stay at The Embassy Suites in Lompoc Ca. It is less than 1/2 hr drive. In evening have drinks and nachos, veg dip . All the beer and wine from 5:30 -7:30. There are many restaurants in area as well as shopping. In morning have a made to order complimentary breakfast with omelets, eggs bacon sausage, fruit, bagels yougurt oatmeal. everything you can imagine and it is all compimentaryl!. Then head on back towards home and stop in Solvang, ( a simple Dutch/German town with shops bakeries and these pastry like things calld Appleskivers. Also the best cheese & wine store called "The Vinhouse"

“Not impressed-location first is a no for a 5* establishment!”

Not impressed with this location at all. I have stayed at manyyyyy Emb Suites and this was by far the worst..location has an unsafe appearance, incl parking lot area. teenie lobby.NOT welcoming..dreary..very small rooms and living room. happy hour service bartender was truly stressed from working alone maybe?. breakfast guy truly stressed without a smile to customers as though they may need more employees-rushing customers to order. room not cleaned next day by maid service. showers may need an upgrade for this hotels status around the world. lights in teenie bathroom very hot-needs replacing to the energy saving CFL's lower rooms on ground level way way too unsafe with opening sliding glass doors? No restaurant attached like others. rooms not at all equipped for more than 2 people comfortably incl the little living room area Front desk clerks were very polite and helpful and smiling ! rcvd. more towels as requested since room was not cleaned-nice. Gym was very nice and very cool for the temperature outdoors-yet on the 2nd floor???? -nice equipment I rcvd. late checkout-nice

OMGOODNESS-WANT PIZZA-TRY LaBocca Italian Rest across street from the Embassy Suites in Lompoc down the road a little..Mama who owns it is so so sweet and great customer service and great food!!

Family-friendly activities

HEARST CASTLE !!! YOU HAVE GOT TO VISIT THIS CASTLE!! simply beautiful, breath taking from beginning to end , unbelieveable to the naked eye. bring a nice camera!! wear comfy shoes. The great grandson got married the weekend I was there visiting. We did the Grand ballroom tour and saw gorgeous pools and so so much history to the entire place!

Outdoors or beach

take a drive out 101 North and head back to see the beaches..Avila Beach and others..simply breath taking!

“Great option when visiting Solvang”

From the advice of another reviewer, we decided to stay in Lompoc instead of Solvang and we're so glad we did. Lompoc is about 20 minutes west of Solvang which isn't a big deal. You really get alot for the price at this Embassy. The room was clean, comfortable, large and had 2 flat screen TV's, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. The price also included breakfast which had a made to order omellete, egg station...very cool. We'll definitely return the next time we're in the mood for Santa Inez wineries.

This is Lompoc folks... It's not Santa Barbara. If you're passing through it's a great option. The lobby looks a little tired & dated but the rooms are really nice & the breakfast was great!

“Great Hotel”

Great place. Very quiet. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We arived very late and were pleased to see it was next to a 24 HR restaurant, what a relief!! We will definitely stay there next time we go to Lompoc!

“Visting Vandenburg - Stay at the Embassy”

What a wonderful hotel, From the minute you pull into the parking lot you know that you are in a first class establishment. It only gets better when you get greated at the reception desk. The room tops it all! I would recommend the Embassy to anyone that is visting Lompoc. I missed the evning recption but I did not miss the breakfast. A complimentary made to order breakfast with all sorts of other goodies in the dining area. Again a great hotel and I will stay there again when I go to Vandenburg to see my daughter.

“Outstanding Breakfast!”

Great garden and really outstanding breakfast that is included in the cost. Breakfast is at Sonny's Kitchen (hotel courtyard) and includes omelettes, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, bacon, etc. Facility is older and can use some paint, etc. but is fairly well maintained.

“We return each year, great hotel”

The Lompoc location stands up to Embassy Suites excellent reputation! Clean and quiet room, friendly concierge staff and the most accommodating cooks I have seen for the breakfast than other Embassy Suites. The drive from Solvang is not too far just 20 minutes so we will continue to return each year for the Santa Barbara wine country half marathon.

“Clean, comfortable and great location!”

Very nice, clean room. Have never had a bad experience with Embassy and this was no exception. Very friendly staff. Breakfast (cooked to order) was above-average for hotels these days. Wide-screen TV's in both rooms (I don't even have one at home!) Perfect location for all the sights on the Central Coast: wine-tasting, beach, golf, etc. I have to say also that the shower was the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. Will not hesitate to return!

Buellton, Solvang, surrounding area for wine-tasting. La Purisima is one of the best golf courses I've ever played. Santa Barbara is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
