“Excellent position when travelling North to South”

The hotel's views from the rooms across the river were stuunning, I'm not sure of the views in the other direction. The staff were very friendly. Not having to negotiate Orleans for just the one night stay was a major plus. The freeway noise was deadened by the double glazed windows.

An excellent/convenient place to stay on the way down South. Even the freeway noise was kept to a minimum. Ask for a room with a view across the gardens to the river.

“Dont be fooled!”

The video relating to this hotel would lead you to believe its a Garden of Eden. It could only be described, at best as barely adequate. The room was dark and dingy, the bathroom and toilet were separate which we found strange, and the shower screen did nothing to keep water from the shower from covering the floor. For the price we paid this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in on our european tour. There are 2 wings to this hotel, I suspect both cant be of this poor standard. Avoid if you can.

“Lovely quiet hotel - excellent breakfast”

This is a lovely hotel - we've taken to use it as our stop over on the way back from the Med. The rooms are fine, the surroundings are really nice and quiet and the hotel does a great breakfast, with fresh danishes. There's also lots of cheap places to eat nearby the hotel.

“Good overnight stopover.”

We stayed here for one night on our travels down to Italy. The hotel sits back from the main road and is located next to a river with a large peaceful garden area. The hotel restaurant is located next door but gets very busy so you should book in advance. We didn't and therefore couldn't eat here. The waiter was extremely helpful and booked us into another restaurant ten minutes drive away. (Le Rivage - riverside restaurant - very, very expensive but worth it.). We would stay here again.

“convenient stop-over”

Well placed just off the motorway, the hotel is pleasant enough and the few staff are welcoming and helpful. Facilities are limited, however as we were only using the hotel for a stop over when driving through France it suited our purpose.

Good Hotel, lovely location, and the adjacent Restaurant serves fantastic food. No need to even cross the road.

Very pleased with the hotel. Easy to find and in a good location. The staff were very pleasant and the room was very clean. Parking was free and secure. Breakfast was not included in the room price but it was worth paying the extra before our journey to the south of France. The restaurant was closed on Sunday but there were few good restaurants within walking distance. I would hate to critise anything about the hotel as it was a fantastic hotel considering the 3 star rating. For minor improvement for the future I would only recommend the bed as it slightly deeped in the middle.

“Highly Recommended - Great Value and V Friendly Staff”

We used this hotel as a stopover on our way to and from southern France on a family holiday with 3 children. Did not know what to expect, as this was one of the more reasonable cost hotels available (about 70Euros a room) that ctaered for triple and double rooms. We could not have been more pleased! This hotel is situated right on the Loire River with beautiful views from the lovely gardens. You can take breakfast outside too. The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable and the staff the friendliest you could ask for. Parking is great with CCTV hidden in among the tree lined driveway. They do not offer evening meals but a hundred yards down the drive is an excellent french restaurant. Their continental breakfast buffet was like the rest of the hotel - excellent! Much better than the usual chains and business hotels. Choose and you will not be disappointed.
