“Cheap(ish), but you get what you pay for.”

We (family of four) stayed in one of the cottages on an overnight stopover. Very much like the other reviewer we found the room smelt, paint was peeling off the walls, the cottage was very bare. So just about adequate for an overnight stopover but I wouldn't go back. While we were there we saw two other people complaining about the cottages (one also complained that the room smelt), one of whom was also complaining about the quality of service in the restaurant (though we didn't eat there).

Area recommendations
Stay in the centre - if you book ahead you can get just as cheap rates and you can wander round the city. We had friends who stayed at the Hotel Mercure on the river and werevery complementary about it.

“tour de france lovely spot just out of Borges”

Lovely hotel on the golf course just out of borges. You need a car as there is nothing around it but it was great to be out in the countryside with lots of fresh air. Rooms are dated but clean and with adequate bathrooms

bonne appréciation générale manque d'info sur les forfaits ( entrée balnéades et golf) personnel d'entretien bruyant la matin ( 9h) disponibilité appréciable à l'accueil

“Schönes, ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten”

Ruhig in landschaftlich reizvoller Umgebung gelegenes Hotel. Aufgrund seiner Nähe zu Orleans und zum Loire-Tal ideal für Ausflüge, insbesondere auch mit dem Fahrrad (Loire-Radweg). Golfplatz direkt am Hotel, daher ideal für Golfspieler. Wellnesszentrum in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Cottages für bis zu 4 Personen in großer Anzahl vorhanden, daher für Familien mit Kindern bestens geeignet. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Aufgrund schlechter Beschilderung nicht einfach zu finden.

Traveller's tip
Gut geeignet für Besuche von Orleans oder des Loire-Tals, auch mit dem Fahrrad (Loire-Radweg).

“interessant en famille”

le cottage est spacieux,une grande chambre ainsi qu'une grande salle de bain à l'étage ;au rez de chaussée un séjour avec un grand clic clac,un coin cuisine et des toilettes.Le seul petit problème est que dans la chambre du haut seule une lampe fonctionnait

“un cadre tres calme”

les cottages sont mal entretenu,des fissures dans le murs et la vaisselle etait sale,pas de verification apres les departs.
