We had a two bedroom apartment, with 3 twin beds in one room, a master bedroom, and a roll away bed. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking in with two burners, microwave and refrigerator, and the apartment was very clean and appeared freshly painted. The kitchen table had room for six. The front desk staff leave at 6pm and are not there on Sundays, so don't expect a full service hotel. There is a play area for children by the front of the hotel and a supermarket within a few minutes walk. It was quiet at night even on Friday and Saturday. Overall, a great place to stay for our family of six and a good value compared to two rooms in a more traditional hotel.
"Upgrade or face the consequences - the choice is yours!"
This hotel seemed to be geared for late night rendezvous? We thought we would try this hotel just so we knew what one star meant. It means one star. The room was a bunk bed (one double, one single above) with a bathroom unit inserted, as an after thought. It was as though someone expected there was going to be a mess that needed cleaning up. This is a horrible place, don't take your children there. Not nice.
"If you need to stay in the area, this is an excellent choice"
This is an excellent hotel - the rooms are big, bright and extremely clean with a lovely bathroom, air conditioning, a modern TV and coffee making facilities. There is also free parking. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey at 9 euros and therefore I did not have it but I did have an excellent buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant the night before which was very reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the area. At a quick glance, however, St Etienne appears to offer very little to the tourist although its location is convenient if breaking a journey
The hotel and the staff are very attentive to the need of their customers. Great Restaurant with great food breakfast bar absolutely fantastic. Will recommend highly to anyone and especially if you are on a budget.
Great location near the main road, pool available, rooms are small but very comfortable.
