“Very Good”

This was a lovely hotel, well situated with friendly/helpful staff and a very nice breakfast. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars for everything was because there were no drinks making facilities in the room but this was a small point

“Hotel de France à Nantes”

Hotel très bien situé en centre ville, près des rues piétonnes et de bons restaurants. Petits déjeuners buffet très copieux et bons. Rien à dire sur l'hotal qui est trés beau et propre. Seul inconvénient : la mauvaise literie et le bruit la nuit dehors. Tout était très bien, mais nous avons très peu et très mal dormi. Parfait pour des personnes indifférentes aux matelas mous.

Area recommendations
Pour les gourmands, un super bon restaurant et pas cher avec cuisine au foie gras, morilles et autres choses bien délicieuses, et des gérants très sympas : les délices de Manu, rue Santeuil, à 3 minutes à pied de l'Hotel de France. Vivement conseillé !

“emplacement et service hotelier a recommander”

La formule offerte SNCF-HOTEL DE FRANCE a donne toute satisfaction, rapport qualite-prix.

Area recommendations
Pornic, le Croisic et autres endroits de la Bretagne si possible. mais egalement les vignobles et les chateaux de la Loire. Il y a tant a faire, la region est si belle.
Getting around
en train si ce n est que pour une journee, sinon louer une voiture pour visiter les environs, en ville, par le tram

le chateau d Anne de bretagne, la vieille ville, la cathedrale de st pierre
Dining
l excellente creperie Heb Ken, a proximite de la place Royale, le restaurant La Cigale, la taerne de Maitre Kanter,,,

“Hôtel de France à Nantes : bien situé mais ne mérite pas trois étoiles.”

Bien que cet hôtel soit bien situé, il ne mérite pas trois étoiles. Cet hôtel aurait besoin de rénovations. Les tapis étaient sales et le confort dans les chambres minimal. Par contre, le personnel était accueillant.

“Hotel de France, au coeur de Nantes”

J'ai connu de meilleures chambres dans cet Hôtel globalement veillissant. Celle-ci n'était pas très grande et surtout, les rideaux n'étaient pas opaques, dans un rue plutôt éclairée.

“Séjour à l'Hôtel de France de Nantes”

Entrée de parking minuscule et impossible de rentrer avec une voiture de moyenne capacité (mais la réceptionniste me prétends le contraire). Il fait froid dans les chambres dont la rénovation n'a pas dû avoir lieu depuis de nombreuses années. La télé fonctionne mal. Personne pour m'accueillir au petit-déjeuner et je décide au bout de 5 mn de piquer les couverts sur une table pour m'installer par moi même. L'emplacement est idéal mais je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel vieillissant et pas très reluisant.

“Nous y retournons dès que possible”

L'hôtel est bien situé, l'accueil est excellent et le rapport qualité/prix est satisfaisant. Il est cependant dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu accéder au restaurant de l'hôtel.

“Un emplacement de premier ordre”

Très bien placé à proximité immédiate de la place Graslin (théâtre, brasserie classée...) et en plein centre de vie de Nantes, l'hôtel a des dimensions et un décor majestueux,avec un personnel impeccable. Bémol: ses chambres, très grandes, ne sont plus dans les canons et les équipements du jour et elles ne sont pas insonorisées.

Traveller's tip
Certaines chambres, très vastes, peuvent aussi très bien convenir pour un séjour d'un couple avec un ou deux enfants.
