“Great Location”

Overall the hotel was fine as far as comfort and cleanliness. But the desk was unattended during the day with no instructions on how to contact an employee. So if there is a problem there is no way to communicate with anybody.

“Liverpool always worth a longer visit”

Very centrally located apartments, convinient for all tourist attractions, transport , shopping and night life. Supermarket below apartmets very handy, as are local resturants. Apartments very modern and comfortable, but there was no hair dryer and the TV only had 5 channels. Liverpool always has so much to see and do.

Area recommendations

Albert Dock great for eating out and nightlife, the whole waterfront must be seen, will be even better when Museum of Liverpool opens, Liverpool 1 great for shopping. Love the Cathedrals and Mr Hardmans Photographic studio on Rodney Street well worth a visit if you have an hour or two to spare.

“Not impressed”

The toaster did not work, the kettle had a leakage, water in the bathroom was at room temperature, and the wireless internet was out of order. No need for more reasons. I am durably disappointed.

“Mount Pleasant Apartments”

Very difficult to get into - voices on the phone only - sparse information from reception - eg had to ask for front door code - I had been let in by someone in the hallway. Spartan accommodation - was clean but very basic.

“Central Liverpool serviced apartment”

A spacious modern one bed-roomed apartment plus lounge and kitchen. In a remotely managed block. Entry to the hotel, car park, and your room key safe box all require different key codes. Make sure you call to get them by phoning before arrival. If you are coming by car make sure you have a good Liverpool map or sat nav. There are many one way streets in the vicinity which complicate road access. Ideally placed for shopping, and city centre activities, but there are a dearth of good restaurants in the area. Or is that just Liverpool in general? There is a small, convenient Tesco Express supermarket on the ground floor. Overall good quality, functional, budget accommodation.

“Cleaning leaves a lot to be desired”

On arrival you check-in over the phone and are given a keycode to access your key. There are no staff on duty on the premises. Our apartment was not clean, floors, tables etc. even the plates, cooking pots, microwave, breadbin and oven needed cleaning. We spent 2 hours doing this! We did complain and the the place was tidied up the next day but they was a total lack of attention to detail. Move the bed and sofas a fraction and you find rubbish underneath. Equipment was lacking, no cooking knives, a peeler that did not peel, no wine glasses, just an odd assortment of pint beer glasses. Apart from that the place was very central with secure underground parking available. Beds were comfortable with good clean linen. If they sort out the cleaning and equipment then it would be good.

“Great place!”

We were very presently surprised with the hotel. It's right in the heart of Liverpool and is within walking distance to everything.

Traveller's tip

If you have a car, use the city parkade across the street. Note: the parkade is totally locked at 8pm and doesn't reopen until 7am and has 24 hour security.
