“Excellent location, good views and wonderfully comfortable beds!”

We had a citybreak weekend and the location for Liverpool One and the tourist attractions was ideal. The breakfast area and bar were fairly basic but we didn't particularly want them, the room had real character, being part of the Albert Dock, complete with metal girders and support bars. There was plenty of space in the room and the beds were among the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The double glazing kept out the noise of the wind over the river, but not all of the shrieks from the bars outside-it wasn't noisy enough to disturb me, and if you choose a spot ideal for the restaurants & bars, it has to have an effect on the noise levels I guess. Overall, I found it a great place to spend a weekend & I will definitely be back!

Area recommendations
Too many good places to mention them all! The City tourist bus is good; Albert Dock for bars, Liverpool One for shopping; the Maritime Museum & Museum of Liverpool are great, as is the Tate. If you walk further up into town the Walker Art Gallery has more traditional art & is fantastic, as is the World Museum. Way too much to see in just one weekend. A wander around the business end of the city shows off the architecture, near the town hall and the Municipal Buildings, the Three Graces along the waterfront, with the Cunard Building, Port of Liverpool & of course the Liver Buildings. Liverpool One, the Echo Arena & the Wheel are all vibrant at night. I was amazed at the number of international tourists & how hard it was to get a hotel room for the nights we wanted. Fantastic city break!

“Great deal and great location!”

Everything was great about this hotel, except for the the beds. Not comfortable at all. But the shower was amazing, breakfast was nice and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do. It's the best deal you can find.

“Echo Arena Holiday Ex”

I chose this hotel because of it's convenient location regarding it's proximity to the Liverpool Echo Arena. It's actually the closest one, you're there in seconds! It's an old refurbished mill done to a high finish, great ambiance within the room with exposed brickwork, original metalwork and LED lighting. Great views from windows overlooking the Albert Docks. Breakfast included also which was nice!

“Would go back”

The location of hotel is good and handy for buses taxis .Good view of the mersey and Albert dock depending which room your are in.The staff very helpful breakfast not the greatest but there are plenty to chose from outside in the Albert dock area. Would recomend it to people for short break

“Excellent Value For Money!”

Good hotel in a great location. The hotel building is built into the old buildings surrounding the Albert Dock and the architecture of the building brought a lovely unique feel to what is fundamentally a value hotel. Plenty of space in the rooms and public areas and breakfast was perfectly adequate I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool on a budget.

“Choose your room”

Great value for money but ask for a room away from the nightclub next door - shouting and screaming going on til 3 am!

Area recommendations
Albert Dock is a good location to stay - great selection of hotels, restaurants etc and you are only minutes from the ferry cross the Mersey!

“A very impressive Hotel”

This Hotel exceeded our expectations. The receptionist was very nice and allowed us to have a room overlooking the Dock itself. The room was excellent, very clean and spacious. The Breakfast was adequate and always fresh and replenished if needed. We found the Hotel to be in an excellent position for the main attractions, being near the eye and the cavern quarter, this being 10 mins walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Area recommendations
The Cavern quarter is very interesting and if your into the beetles there is everything you need to know. The Dock area is really good and has obviously been renovated to a very high standard.
