“Pleasant respite for a busy visit”
Pleasant, relaxing hotel. Excellent location and relaxing lounge. One young English woman at the front desk could have enunciated better so she could be understood, and she abruptly answered the telephone mid-transaction and attended to that party's business rather than completing our business transaction first, and without even an 'excuse me' or 'one moment' to me. It was as if I disappeared.
“The staff and hotel are first class!”
The staff at this hotel will go out of their way to make you comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat!
“would go back to if I ever visit Liverpool again”
very nice location & good service
“Super friendly staff in this central Liverpool location”
We often stay in Liverpool but never used this Hotel before. It was a pleasant surprise. Its fairly new, clean and modern. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was so handy to have a car park at the Hotel- many of the hotels on the Albert Dock in the city do not have car parking, so this was a plus for us, although it did cost extra. The room was comfortable and quiet, though a bit on the stuffy side as the windows don't seem to open, but there is AC in the room so its not really an issue. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre and also the attractions on the Albert Dock. I liked this Hotel and will certainly stay there again.
“Excellent Hotel in Liverpool”
Excellent hotel, fantastic location, spa facilities very clean, staffed by local people, which gives it that really friendly feel, loved Liverpool, people there are really proud of their city, so they want you to really enjoy your stay there. Would definitely stay there again. Only one criticism - you have to pay £10 per night to park on the hotel car park, felt ripped off as it should be included in the price of the "not cheap" room rate anyway!
“great location”
This hotel was ideally placed for Albert Docks. We did the beatles tour which was based at Albert Docks, well worth the trip. The only complaint about the hotel was the bar service in the restaurant. My husband was halfway through his meal before his wine arrived. The starterwe ordered was also" forgotten". The reception staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The chef in the restaurant was very helpful too in helping with meals. Would go back again.
“Great Experience for the entire family!”
We made our reservations the day before we left for Liverpool! This was a great choice of hotel. The staff was so friendly and made sure we knew where to go for the best sites. In fact, the concierge followed us to the car to make sure we knew where we needed to go. Everything, and I mean everything was within walking distance of the hotel. When my son walked into the front door of the hotel, he said, "wow this is a really nice place!" He is only 5! I would stay here again and again. If you are headed to Liverpool, make this hotel your first and only choice!
“Excellent Hotel experience.”
Service and comfort were first class. Breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely return.
“would definately stop at this hotel again when visiting liverpool”
The hotel is only a ten min walk to the albert docks and across from that is the capital one shopping centre (well worth a look) so everything is in walking distance.went on the "duck tour" at the docks which was really good. The hotel is really nice our room was looking straight at the liver building and the mersey was to the right.Breakfast was a buffet which was really nice. The leisure facilities was also very welcoming, all in all we had a great time and would stop there again.
“Lovely staff, good location. Would definitely go back”
Had a good stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and I couldn't fault them. Location of the hotel was excellent, on the docks with a lovely view out over them. (I had asked when booking on Expedia for a nice view if possible and this was definitely given). Was about a 10 minute walk max to Katherine Docks and the Liverpool One Shopping Centre, so we walked everywhere during our stay. We booked cabs from hotel, which were v. prompt and cheap. The only bad thing I could comment on was the cleanliness of the room, I did find hairs in the bath on arrival and also the soap dish was moldy, the plugs in the bath and sink did not drain properly so had to pull the suction up with hands rather than plug lever, which is not hygenic. I did think the bathroom needed a bit of maintainance. The pool and facilities were good, although the changing rooms were not as good as they could be and the ladies changing was on the 2nd floor and the mens on the first, which was a bit incovenient and the pool and gym facilities are used by the general public too who pay monthly so it was always quite busy and the changing rooms were open, no private booths to change in which I prefer. To sum it up I would definitely stay here again.
