“Enjoyed the amenities”

Especially loved the ambiance, the meal in the Mallard Bar and the cigar bar. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Didn't understand why there was no trash can in the bathroom and why I didn't get the wake up call I asked for. Loved the ducks!

“Very nice hotel”

My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We arrived too late for the shuttle (11 pm), but they reimbursed us for the taxi. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff made us very welcome. It was within walking distance of the fabulous River Walk, Pres. Clinton's presidential library, the River Market and some fairly decent restaurants. Breakfast at the Peabody was expensive, but we ate there one day anyway. We took the trolley around town and into N. Little Rock. Well worth the money. We also went to the old Statehouse next to the Peabody and the Arkansas State Museum -- both were excellent.

“Definitely NOT impressed”

First of all, the hotel had NO public parking lot (valet only) so we had to wait over 30 minutes for our car to arrive after check out. Once we arrived, our original 2 bed room that was originally booked (and confirmed via phone) was NOT available. We were offered a roll-away bed for our room, which we said "OK" to. We waited for almost 2 hrs before calling the front desk at which time the person told us that all of the roll-aways were already given to other guests. SO, we ended up cramming 4 people in one king-size bed!!! To top everything else off, the room didn't even provide enough towels for the number of people staying in the room! Overall, I was not impressed with the hotel due to lack of service and lack of "normal" amneties. I've had much better experiences with the Holiday Inn!!

Area recommendations

I would recommend the Double Tree Hotel, which is a block from the Peabody. It is much easier to access (has its own public parking lot) and has a lot more to offer their customers.

“what happened to complimentry coffee?”

Our stay was great ..we enjoyed our stay...but there was no coffee pot in the room.....is that extra????

“no complimentary extras!”

we got a good deal on this room through Expedia which made it was very cheap for us as a family. However nothing else was cheap or complimentary! Restaurant expensive, no coffee making facilities in our room and no free public internet. Much cheaper hotels provided the latter 2. Also there was no luxuriating in the bath tub as we couldn't get the plug to work.Why don't these hotels offer extras for families in thier quiet times as this obviously was? p.s the ducks were great which was my main reason for coming!
