Good locale for our needs. Not in the best area.

We had a nice stay. The only complaint I have is the hotel has a cigarette smoke odor in the halls. Otherwise the hotel is very clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful!!

Smoky smell everywhere. Unlike other la Quinta we stayed before, this one is bad. I will not stay here next time.

Conveniently located near many restaurants. Easy to get to. Really needs to be updated and the carpets need to be cleaned. Overall, nice and quiet with comfortable rooms. Would stay again.

Hotel beside major freeway NOISY, poor management

Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Carpets are filthy..looks like no one has invested in paying for a vacuum in years. New management needed to take care of their customers.
Location: Movie theater within walking distance and a few good restaurants nearby to enjoy.
The room was clean, bathroom was somewhat ok..fairly comfy bed. This hotel is within 50 yards of a major highway I-430, you will hear trucks and cars traveling ALL night long, had to leave a pillow on my head to help minimize the noise to sleep. The most disappointing part of the trip was the front desk of the hotel. Came down to checkout the next morning and no employee was there at the desk! Waited standing there for at least 5 minutes before finding a housekeeping employee to ask where is the management or staff to help check me out of my room. Few minutes passed and the employee strolls in the door taking their time to assist me -(the customer!). The employee didn't apologize or anything, only handed a hotel manager's card to contact them with my complaint. DONE..emailed Laquinta.com with a complaint directly. I won't be staying in this ghetto hotel again.

For the past 8-10 years, we have stayed here 3-4 days at least twice each year. The location is great for us -- easy access to I-430/I-630 and variety of restaurants & shops and to medical clinic for check-ups, quiet neighborhood, can walk to movie theater. BUT the hotel has steadily deteriorated; seemed to be improving the last time we stayed; not so this time; will not try it again!!! Rug and tile areas were filthy; no evidence of cleaning or vacuum for the 5 days that we were there; there was dirt & pieces of paper & plastic, dried liquids (on tile & elevator floor) throughout -- outside entry, hallway, elevator, breakfast area, our room. Although our first room was supposedly 'Non-smoking', it reeked; we were moved to another 'Non-smoking' room which was better but still had smoke-smell. Had problem with cable TV on 3rd day; front desk said maintenance would be right up -- 3-4 hours later, the problem corrected itself. Next-to-last night, there were bouncy children above us -- for about 2 hours we tolerated it; called to front desk @ 10:30 p.m. and asked that they handle the problem; said they would -- but no change until about 11:30 p.m. Suspect that the children belonged to an employee because we saw several children in the lobby with employees when we came in about 7 p.m. Employees were very cordial but ineffective, inefficient & unconcerned about quality work.

Dirty rooms that smell

Staff was very friendly, but the smell of this facility was bad. Had to take all clothes to the cleaners to get the smell out. The toilet was set at an angle and the shower was disgusting. I don't expect anything fancy from a 2 star hotel, but it should at least be clean.

This hotel was dirty! Stains all over the carpet, hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, cigarette butts were in the hallway tossed on the floor, bathroom was dirty with hair and dirt and the toliet hadn't been cleaned. I will never go back!
