I was up in the area to have a service for my father who had passed. My companion and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and considerate.
The staff is extremely concerned about your wellbeing. We was running late due to weather and had no problem with checking in late. I also called up after making the reservation, to make a slight room change, which, just like the late check in, was no problem for the staff.
In fact, I was asked if I needed help with the luggage. Since the weather continued the next day, the manager told me that she would hold my room just in case I needed to stay over another night due to the weather conditions. They were very sympathetic when they found out about my reason for being in the area.
I asked for an extra pillow, but received 2. After being told about that the TV remote was missing, another one was immediately provided. During the continental breakfast, the manager asked if we were ok. My companion normal eats toast, when he eats. She offered regular bread instead of the normal bagels. She also sat and talked to us, while we ate.
This small and quaint hotel is a great place to stay. Not only do you have several "tourist" attractions around, but you have a staff that cares. They WILL take it to the next level, which in the customer service industry, is a rarity.
