“Beautiful new hotel in Oriente area”
This is a new, modern, and well run hotel. Everything was excellent, including the room condition, quietness, room size, nice bathroom with tub and shower, and a good breakfast. There is a small charge for internet access. (I paid 3 Euros for 2 hours, which is very reasonable by European standards.) Safe area, and a couple of blocks from the Vasco de Gama shopping mall, and train station across the street. Lots of restaurants and shopping options at the mall. I will definately stay here again.
“Lisbons best breakfast included!!”
We were very pleased we chose to stay at this hotel, not only was it in a prime Lisbon location, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the buffet breakfast filled us up until dinner! Located in the Expo 98 site, 10min on the metro to Lisbon center, this hotel couldnt have be in a better place. Down the road from both the Oriente Metro/Train/bus station, and the massive shopping center, this hotel is around the corner from Europes biggest Oceanarium (we could see it from our room!) . The area is very clean and safe and makes a nice place to retreat to after the hussle and bussle of Lisbon center, and has all the resturants/shops and supermarkets you could wish for on your door . It is also down the hill (about a 15min slow walk), from the airport (just head towards the twin sail shapped towers of the Expo site), a taxi is easy to get, but dont be coaxed into giving the taxi driver more than the 5Euros the 2min journey should cost! The rooms are nice and modern with aircon the actually works, but the best thing is the free breakfast, it has everything from cooked food, continental meats/cheeses, pasteries, fruit, cereal, yogerts, juices and a big range of hot drinks, it is constantly being toppped up, and it runs from 7-10am so you have loads of time to fill yourself up for the day!!On our last day we came down to the lobby to find the portuguese football team and loads of press, which shows it must be a posh hotel!!Stay there you will love it!
“Good alternative to others in the area, eg Tivoli Oriente, Tryp Oriente”
Nice hotel - very clean, looks new, but 6 yrs old. Very modern look. Only 3 minor adverse comments: command of English of reception staff was a bit limited, unusual for this area. Also no blankets or extra pillows were available. Finally, bed a bit hard. Excellent breakfast buffet - worth ensuring that this is in the rate on booking. Very close to shopping centre/Altantic Pavilion/tube station/Aquarium.

“Will use again”
great experience and would reccomend it to any traveler that wants to feel pampered and taken care of!
“The Best !!”
We have stayed at the Ollissippo Oriente several times and have always been impressed with just about everything about the place. Coming up from the Algarve the hotel is easy to find just off the motorway, we drop off at the reception desk and park under the hotel (fee). The Oriente station is just 200 m away with bus, metro, train and taxi connections to the city; the Vasco de Gama shopping is the same distance and the Atlantic Pavilion just a little further for concerts etc. The rooms are clean and spacious and everything works !! The mini bar is expensive (aren't they always !) so we take our own drinks. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of hot or cold, healthy or otherwise. The only gripe really is having to pay for internet access, oh! and the occassional coach party getting in the way.
“This is one place that I certainly wish to go back!”
The hotel is located in a perfect location. It is near the airport, rail station and a fabulous shopping mall. It is in a walking distance from the Oceania, a beautiful place to spend an hour or so. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I wish they had wireless access in rooms though.
“A lovely hotel and great place to stay”
I booked this hotel as a 10th wedding anniversary surprise for my wife. She was most impresssed with my choice and i earned lots of brownie points for the surprise. This is a modern style of hotel so if you like old world charm this is not the place for you. If your the sort of person who likes designer goods you will feel right at home here. The staff were friendly and seemed pleased to help when asked.
“Nice area”
this hotel is in an area of Lisbon that's often overlooked, but it has many attractions and restaurants.
“une note entre 0 et 20 .....20”
Tout est parfait du petit déjeuner au silence a l'environnement . A recommander
