“Great Hotel in Lisbon with a family feel about it.”

Staff are excellent especially the Bar and catering staff. Breakfasts provide a wide variety of foods. Dinner at the hotel is a must. Rooms are really clean. Easy access to the Parque metro which gets you anywhere in Lisbon.

“Good old-fashioned quality”

The only thing wrong was the bed: twin beds close together instead of the queen bed promised. We should have noticed and mentioned straight away, but didn't bother. But the reception staff were always ready with help and advice, the chambermaid was very caring and efficient. Breakfast was included and it was fine, with staff constantly replenishing and keeping everything well-ordered and clean. You couldn't get fried egg, bacon and all the trimmings, but there were reasonable substitutes and all that you'd expect of a continental breakfast. Miraparque could not be more central, being close to the Praca Marques de Pombal, which is pretty much Lisbon's hub. We'd go to the Miraparque again.

“Excellent value for money”

This hotel was everything we could have wished for at the price. Although the decor is very dated, everything was in pristine condition, which lent the hotel a "retro" feel. Our room overlooked the main road, but there was very little noise at night. The breakfast bar was excellent and the service efficient and friendly throughout. The Miraparque is a couple of miles out of the main city centre, but the metro and bus stop are just around the corner and transport is frequent. All staff spoke excellent English.

“Definitely recommend this hotel”

I would definitely stay here again. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. The staff speaks English. Lisbon is great, enjoy. The city is manageable on foot, but if you want a more relaxing trip then pay for one of the hop on hop off bus tours.

“Best kept secret”

Up near the beautiful Park Edward, a bit of a walk, but near bus lines. Meticulously clean! Quiet. Nice little bar down in the lobby, and restaurant serves resonably priced meals. Desk staff very helpful with making reservations at restaurants, using buses and trams, getting taxis,etc. Doorman very helpful. Safe area. English spoken by most staff.

“Fine hotel in Lisbon”

We were very satisfied with the Miraparque Hotel in Lisbon. We stayed there three nights in January and were extremely well treated by the helpful staff. The room was clean and the beds very good, on the firm side. The breakfast was fine, much more than I had expected. Location was very quiet -- across the street from a very nice park -- and right around the corner from a metro stop and about a long block from a very active bus stop.

“Excellent 3 star hotel-central quiet location”

Easy access from airport- Aerobus to Marquis de Pombal (aerobus tickets can be used for free travel on all buses/trams for 24 hrs after purchase) Short steep cobbled climb to hotel. Opposite Edward VII park. 2-3 mins to buses and Parque metro. Bed mattresses hard (hence 4 rating for comfort) Friendly helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast. Central quiet location. Very good local cafe/restaurants. We did try the restaurant for a meal- it was fairly priced- but the main course was disappointingly cool-it should have been hot- the wine was excellent value.

A comfortable, quite hotel in a great location (near Parque metro station) with friendly staff and a great breakfast.

The hotel employees were extremely polite and helpful. The room was very clean. The Metro was just around the block so it made traveling throughout the city very easy. We would love to stay there again.
