“Good choice for Lisbon”

Very comfortable beds, excellent showers, good location right by metro, helpful staff. Some issues with wifi, and not the best breakfast, but still very satisfactory.

“Great hotel close to everything, helpful staff”

This is great hotel located in central Lisbon close to everything.....u are with in walking distance of the pedestrian street, a lot off great shops, close to the hop on hop off buses..... There is loads of bus stops as well as metro close close by. Staff very helpful with helping book tours you can do it right there and my tour even picked me right up @ my hotel and brought me back afterwards... Buffett breakfast good....and open til 10:30am..... Restaurant in hotel very good...ate there twice..... In 2 days..... Only a10 to 15 euro taxi fare to airport....or u can take the bus as well...staff very courtieous and helpful...they even extended my checkout time with no issues....clean and nice...bed comfortable....definitely a solid 4 star for Europe......oh forgot to mention free wifi .... Cheers

“Great place to spend first night in Portugal”

After 30 hours of travel, it was auspicious to have chosen such a nice and not too expensive hotel to stay for our 1st night in Portugal. TripAdvisor guided me to it. Clean, stylish, comfortable, great breakfast, good advice on our transportation needs for the following day, wonderful view of Avenue Liberdade and Lisbon’s signature ochre colored, red roof tiled buildings beyond from our window. We went on to Porto on the train the next day. Next time, if there is a next time, I will stay longer.

Area recommendations
Depends on how long you’re going to be there. I returned to Lisbon for 2 weeks at the other end of the trip and rented a flat in Lapa. Away from the Alfima & Chaido where many tourists stay, but still accessible through Lisbon’s great public transportation system.

“I loved it :-)”

It was a lovely hotel, in a very convenient location, within walking distance to the city centre. The city has loads to see. We went on the tour buses which is just around the corner from the hotel. Just remember to wear flats, the city is full of hills.

“Great hotel, great location!”

Comfortable, quiet and stylish room. Nice bathroom with good shower. Excellent breakfast included. Good location right beside the Metro and the airport bus stops about 500m away. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Dining
For a really special meal, would recommend Assinatura restaurant a few streets from hotel.

“A good choice for a city break”

Check in was very efficient and the staff went out of their way to make sure your visit was a good one. The room was a good size with comfy beds but no teamaking facilities. I would have preferred some kind of non slip surface in the bath. The step down was a bit difficult at times. The breakfast set you up for a good day's sight seeing and Lisbon should be proud of its very efficient public transport system. Unfortunately the weather was bad but a trip to the Oceanarium was well worth the effort.

Area recommendations
Baixa-Chiado and the Biarrio Alto were very good for shopping and restaurants. Belem for the sights and custard tarts!

“Great hotel in Lisbon”

Great hotel located just in front of the Marques De Pombal Metro stop and almost right on the Marques De Pombal Circle below the park. Modern and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, free internet in the room, nice restaurant and free American style breakfast (not just Continental). Airport is only 15-20 min away by cab. It is on the Avenida Liberdade which is the major avenue in town and only 2 metro stops from the "old downtown" area. Definitely would stay again.

Getting around
Take the mini-streetcar #10 I believe past the fortress to get good views and to see the narrow streets of Lisbon.
