“Lovely stay”
The hotel was lovely. Staff were very helpful, recommended restaurants for us, booked us tables, advised of best places to visit etc and how to get there. Room was very nice and clean and spacious. Nice location on Avenida de Liberdade - near barrio alto for the bars and nightlife and in the centre for shops etc. Also close to metro and bus stops so very handy for sightseeing. Food and drink were a bit expensive in the hotel, particularly from room service but I suppose that's to be expected from a 5 star. Generally, it was a really great holiday and I would recommend the hotel - in April anyway!
“Best value for money in Lisbon”
From arrival to departure, the staff could not do enough for you. Complimentary water, pastries and alcoholic cocktails were showered upon us. The Sky Bar is the height of luxury with a wonderful view over the rooftops to the river and huge loungers to relax on. The pool was great to get into after a long day trudging through the streets and drinks were brought to you at your sun loungers all day. The Brasserie was excellent value with a french style menu though we didn't use the restaurant on the top floor, so cannot comment on that. I would highly recommend this hotel for value for money, luxury living, closemess to the centre of town (about a 5 minute walk away) and an all round first class experience.
“fantastic hotel, beautifully comfortable beds”
Service was outstanding without being too pushy. Had 2 adjoining rooms for 4 nights. One of our children was sick all over the bed one night, the reception staff thanked us for letting them know and even seemed appreciative that we had even bothered to alert them to his trail of devastation. Great location for the city touring buses just up the avenue and easy stroll down the street to main squares and onto the river. Great location. Breakfast had great choice and quality - no charge for kids food. Quality of evening meal in hotel very good although a little pricey. Found fab Italien down avenue on opposite side 600 yds past Hard Rock Cafe in wide lane opposite train station, which includes Starbucks. Great quality food and good prices, prestinely clean. Will revist Tivoli Lisboa and the Italien restaurant. .
“Tivoli Lisboa”
An excellent Hotel in a very good location close to good shopping and restaurants. Hotel restaurants are very good with a varied menu. We stayed in October, past the peak, and couldn't fault the service and attention.
“Great choice of hotel”
This hotel is spacious, well situated, and very comfortable. Breakfast is good value though other food pricey. All the communal space, including the pool, is gorgeous and immaculate, but rooms are also perfectly well-sized and well-equipped. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.
“Excellent!”
This was our second visit to the Tovoli Lisboa and it did not disapoint. It is certainly a cut above the rest in Lisbon and the outside pool is an oasis in a hot and dusty city.
“A hotel that exceeds expectations”
An efficient, businesslike hotel that is at the same time friendly, helpful and informative. The interior is rather dark, and the rooftop bar with loud music did not appeal, but these are quite minor niggles.
“We will be back!”
Hotel is in a superb location, beautiful wide tree lined avenue within easy walking distance of the centre. Room was very comfortable and well appointed and the staff could not be more accommodating. Did not eat in the hotel, too many very good restaurants close by - be careful when ordering seafood by the kg, cost us a small fortune! Check out the sofas in the foyer, be careful you don't nod off!
“Excellent hotel”
Fantastic hotel. Very close to the centre of Lisbon, in a pleasant neighbourhood. Spacious room, very clean, swimming pool not large but my daughter fully enjoyed it. I would definitely go again.
“Excellent Hotel but a little worn round the edges”
The hotel and dining room staff were extremely helpful and the hotel has great atmosphere and ambiance. We were very pleased to be given a free upgrade to a suite which had plenty of room and free fruit and water each day. Small gripes were that the water pressure was very low in the shower and some of the decor was beginning to show signs of wear. Apart from that, the whole experience was wonderful.
