“They hit your credit card after check out.”
I checked out of the hotel with a zero balance and a month later get a 67.00 euro charge on my credit card. I disputed it and the hotel sent a computer printout with no signature and no item purchased. Bank of America put it back on my bill. I just disputed it again. How dumb can this hotel be to ruin an otherwise nice stay for 67.00 euro?
“I fully recomend this hotel”
The hotel contributed to enjoy Lisbon
“Loved it - great base and good hotel”
The hotel was actually much smarter than I thought it would be. The hotel and rooms were modern and in a great situation. Could walk easily to most places but also catch the metro, tram or fenicular easily. If there was one thing I would change it would be to have free tea and coffee facilities in the rooms with milk available. Would definitely go back.
“Everything you need”
Although the room was small it had everything you need. Everything very new and clean.Very central location and safe neighborhood. Hotel counter very willing to help. I lost my credit card and Vanessa was so helpful calling the store I forgot it at and making sure they would wait for me.I wonder why it took me so long to go to Lisboa, Can't wait to go back.
“Great location”
Friendly staff, in a convenient location just 1 road back from the Avenue Liberade which reduced the traffic noise. Great having an outdoor swimming pool with very comfortable sun loungers. Hotel resturant, Olivier Avenida, was fantastic and well worth having a meal there. Only downside was smoking indoors inparticular at the hotel bar which was otherwise a contemporary place to have a drink. Would definitely stay there again.
“Great central location and lovely room”
We wanted a hotel that would be good for getting around Lisbon. The hotel was clean and modern and the rooms were pretty luxurious without having to pay a lot. Staff was very nice, though we had to wait to check out since there are not a lot of staff at any one time. It is a $10 cab ride from the airport (we were ripped off by the cab driver the first time) and a nice walk down to the river or to catch the trams to the hillside tourist areas. Definitely would stay again.
“Lovely in LIsbon”
Not just a pretty little hotel, but the service was extraordinary. And it is located in a central location within easy walking distance to many of Lisbon's offerings.
“Modern hotel, great location”
The hotel is modern and rooms are comfortable. Unfortunatey we were given a room overlooking the carpark but as we didn't spend much time in the room it was fine. Staff were helpful and friendly and the location was great for us. Only a 10 minute walk to most of the main sights, a little further to the Bairro Alto area that comes alive at night. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.
“excellent value”
This hotel is of excellent value. The location is within walking distance to Alfama, the commercial district, express train to Sintra, and all of the restaurants that you could ever desire. Train to Estoril and Calais was within walking distance as well. Airport bus dropoff-pickup very closeby. Very clean and Euro-modern. We preferred our room in the back, which was very quiet, as the front rooms overlooked huge industrial-sized fans. The balconies in the front would have been useless to us. Very pleasant outdoor pool in warm months. Internet is free in a private cubicle in the lobby. We appreciated this very much. In Madeira, we had to pay exhorbitant rates for Internet. Front desk staff ranged from extremely helpful to apathetic. Rooms not huge but quite cozy at the end of exhausting days of walking Lisbon's hills, Sintra, Estoril, and Calais. Highly recommended, especially for the value.
“Very nice hotel - excellent location”
Nice hotel - we had a superior room with a balcony. Room not large - bath not large but adequate and nice - not luxury but for price fairly nice. View was pleasant but can't see main part of old city. On Avenida metro easy to get around. Neighborhood on hill above hotel one of the nicest in city. Overall - very good hotel. The restaurant in hotel a little 'Mafia' feeling quest wise - we went to the sister hotel next door or out into the city. You can't lose with this hotel - staff very good. I would stay here again - we had two single beds push together - I think most rooms have two single beds that can be made into a King if you prefer - so stay - enjoy!
