“not a four star”

I booked this hotel based on its rating - 4 star it said with good reviews, but 4 star it IS NOT!! This hotel at best is a two star - not that clear, uncomfortable and they don't provide any information at all in the room.

“Excellent location for early air departure”

Nice modern hotel near airport and Gulbenkian museum; good shopping nearby and a few good restaurants.

“ok , but could use an upgrade to furniture.”

Hotel was ok.Was expecting more from a hotel in major city.Parking was in garage two blocks away, and our room overlooked the heating and air conditioning units. Room was clean and comfortable, though the linens could have been newer and crisper. Hotel staff was very helpful.

Area recommendations

There are many areas to visit. Top on list woulf be Barrio Alto and Alfama district.

“DISAPPOINTMENT”

Do not believe in the pictures: the hotel is not as nice as them show. Definitely, not a four star hotel. The rooms are very simple and quite old. It is also quite far from the city centre. Ok, prices are good, but still a big disappointment.

“Convenient location and great hours”

We used this hotel because it is 10 minutes from the airport and we had a very early monrning flight. Directions for the hotel to the airport are not well marked - thank goodness for google maps. Staff were friendly as we arrived very late and left very early. Rooms clean and quiet.

“Lisbon Excellent stay”

The hotels service was excellent!! I had a problem with my internet connection and the lady from the lobby send a guy to fix my computer in the room!! The location is pretty close to the airport It cost close to 7-8 euros. from the airport. Downtown is a 10 min. ride excellent service excellent price

“Great location, decent price”

This hotel worked out great. Free WiFi, right next to Roma train station so you can head to any part of town and back easily. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again and would recommend to others.

“Great stay at Hotel Lutecia”

Stayed one night here before heading back to the US from a 12 day Greek cruise. The location was good, very close to a metro and several good coffee shops all around. Several hotels in this particular location so very safe and clean area. There is a Chinese restraunt right next door and the hotel itself has a restraunt which we did not try but it offers local and Indian food. We took metro about 10-15 min ride to downtown, walked around and many places to eat there as well as lots of shopping! Hotel itself is basic and clean. For the low price for a night it was a good stay. Did not use the pool, quite cool at night we were there June 24th. We had a balconey and it was very quite and nice breeze. Everything in room was clean and in working order. A bit small but for European standards just fine. Bed was not too bad, hot water, big closet no real drawers except in the closet. There is a small safe in room. Front desk not overly friendly but did their job well and were nice enough. I would stay again, it's probably good for a short stay.

Area recommendations

If you are staying for more than a couple of days, you might want to stay closer to downtown as I saw many hotels on the blvd there. More pricer but closer to the action.
