“Great location”

We couldn't have asked for a better location, near to main station, transport links, city tour buses and trams, bars and restaurants. The hotel staff weren't exceptionally friendly or welcoming but will give information if you ask. The hotel is quite old and rooms very basic but certainly clean - only main fault was out shower, which seemed to spray everywhere except for downwards! Holding it by hand was the only way to have a decent shower. Breakfast was very simple but a bonus for the price of the hotel, for decent coffee (not expensive at all) there are lots of cafes right outside the front. Overall we had a great stay and if you're looking for a budget room in an excellent location then Hotel Borges is just that.

“Poor hotel in nice spot”

Hotel Borges has an ideal location in Chiado in walking distance of most sites and forms of transport. Nice cafes just outside the door. The place isnt exactly a dump but the personnel was sullen, the room dingy with stained carpet and leftover junk in the drawers. Breakfast really poor: juice and coffee from machines, cold bread rolls. Stay here only if you get a really good rate or dont plan to spend any time in the room.

Rum var stort, men sparsamt med möbler men välisolerat. Fattig frukost. Personalen tystlåten men hjälper med frågor. Geografisk kan man inte bo bättre. Städningen var i det närmaste perfekt. Skulle absolut tänka mig att bo där igen.Backa

“Hotel Borges,Ok”

Posizione centralissima e strategica, metro praticam fuori dall'albergo, le fermate dei tram a pochi metri nella piazzetta adiacente. L'albergo è in buone condizioni. La pulizia della camera...praticam rifanno il letto, cambiano le asciugamani e nient'altro. L'ascensore è (un po') rumoroso. La colazione lascia 1po' a desiderare. Però tutto sommato visto che l'albergo è solo un punto d'appoggio,direi che può andare.

Das Hotel Borges ist von der Lage her für einen Kurztrip sicher bestens geeignet- man fällt aus der Tür mitten in die Fußgängerzone und kann alles zu Fuß erreichen und abends nochmal schnell etwas Essen oder Trinken gehen .Tram und Metro halten auch noch vor der Tür und Taxi zum Flughafen dauert morgens knapp 15 min. Dafür, das man mitten im Leben ist für einen sehr günstigen Preis ist es dann erwrtungsgemäß zur Straße hin recht laut( ab 24 Uhr wird es ruhiger) und das Zimmer war recht einfach, aber ordentlich und sauber, Badezimmer winzig, aber alles war vorhanden. Klimaanlage ging allerdings nicht.. Das Frühstück haben wir uns gar nicht erst angesehen nach den verheerenden Kritiken, die wir hier gelesen hatten, aber es gibt so herrliche Pasteilarias in der Nähe- schön draußen sitzen und geniessen ist sicher die bessere Alternative.

Posizione straordinaria e strategica in pieno centro (vicino all'Elevador di Santa Justa) in zona pedonale. Talvolta qualche rumore notturno. Unica vera pecca la qualità scadente della prima colazione. Comunque consigliabile considerato il rapporto qualità/prezzo. .

“albergo borges... centralissimo”

Avevamo la camera libera già a mezzogiorno, camera pulita, verso l'interno perciò di notte era tranquillo... bastava uscire dall'albergo per vedere gente e il bar più frequentato di Lisbona "Cafè Brasileira"... buona colazione a buffet anche se poco assortimento... consigliato per chi preferisce girare la città e non cerca lussi...

“Excellent séjour”

Une semaine à deux à Lisbonne, avec une base arrière trés bien localisée. On n'y est pas allés pour prendre des petits déj pantagruélliques, ou pour se faire caresser à la réception. Café et petits pains à volonté nous ont permi chaque matin de partir d'un bon pied . A recommander à ceux qui voyagent.
