“Great Modern Hotel”

Modern contemporary hotel, short walk from shops bars and restaurents, only stayed the 1 night in Nov 11 but very impressed with comfort and cleanliness of room and public areas, would definately stay again at Eurostars Das Letras Lisbon.

“would love to return”

The Eurostars das Letras has a great location only minutes walk from Avenida Da Liberdade and the Rossio Square. The staff were very helpfull and friendly and made all efforts to book me a masseur to come into the hotel. The condition of the rooms is excellent and the beds are very confortable( I had one of the biggest beds ever). The breakfast choice could have been better but I have had worst! And I was expecting them to include the famous ''pasteis de belem'' but they did not!!! Overall this is a very good 5 stars hotel in the centre of Lisboa! Try it and you will not be desappointed!

Area recommendations
Belem is a must go area to see the famous sites (Torre de Belem , Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and Padrao dos Descobrimentos) and try the delicious'' pasteis de belem'' better known as'' pasteis de nata''. The city centre and the castle area are very nice and have great look out points where you can see from high up as the city has several hills!

“Nothing wrong, but now "wow" to warrant the fifth star”

Although there was nothing wrong with the hotel, there was also nothing sufficiently right to make it seem like the five star hotel that it somehow is. There was nothing to distinguish it from a thousand and one four star hotels, so I don't know where the fifth one comes from. If you want a good four star hotel, stay here; if you want something exceptional, try a different five star place... And there are many to choose from without going more than a few blocks from here.

“"Overall satisfied"”

Eurostars is overall a very good hotel. The receptionists are very helpful and special mention to Anton. The only problem is that their location. I agreed with the past reviews in this site, which they sited the steep hill to get to the hotel's location. Breakfast is highly satisfactory. The room is very clean except I didn't get any hand/wash cloths on our 1st day of stay and they don't provide shampoos/conditioners. They only have bath gels. Yet, they provided bath robes and slippers for the guests. Again, overall I would recommend this hotel as long as you don't mind getting a little exercise to get to their location.

“Quiet, comfortable, friendly, good location. Definitely going back”

An amazingly comfortable and quiet hotel, well placed just off the busy Avenida de Liberdade. Extremely helpful and friendly reception staff (Ricardo was particularly helpful and gave us good advice on how to do a round trip from Lisbon- Sintra-Cascais-Belem-Lisbon). The quality of the hotel exceeded expectations. We highly recommend it.

Area recommendations
Lisbon is a beautiful and fascinating city and it is difficult to pick out any area as being especially good. Just wander around and enjoy it.

“Highly recommended”

Excellent hotel with very good service. Room very clean and quiet. Uphill from Avenida Liberdade so not for the less mobile. Only 5 minutes from Metro and Airport bus stop.

Area recommendations
Baixa Chiado for lovely squares, shops and cafes, and Alfama for the cathedral and castle. Bellem, Cascais and Sintra all worth a trip out.

“Good quiet location”

We chose this hotel because of the location, about a 10 mins walk from the centre, up a hill but nice and quiet. Very clean and good service in the hotel.

“Amazing Staff and Hotel”

The room was spotless and beautifully done. Hotel staff VERY helpful and will do anything to ensure you are taken care of. Breakfast is excellent. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Couples and business people would really like this hotel in particular.

“Eurostars Das Letras”

Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful. It was not far to the center of town and was all down hill going. Coming back when tired, was not as easy. Breakfast were good and the service was exceptional. There specialty breads and pastry was especially good.

Prices are better when shopping on the side streets and the items are often exactly the same as those found on the main streets.
