“Positives outnumber negatives”

My overall assessment: Very good. Excellent location; convenient to shopping, restaurants, museums. Staff very halpful and cheerful. Only negative: I happened to be in the room when the chambermaid came to clean. I noticed she merely wiped the drinking glasses instead of washing them. Don't know if she used the same rag for cleaning the toilet seat.Learned my lesson: from now on I'll wash glassware myself.Rooms smaller than average. Bathroom could not accommodate more than one person at a time.

“Lisbon Delight”

Great location - within walking distance of a number of sites and on the tram 28 line. The room was on the small side but it is in a historic building with high ceilings and it was elegantly appointed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - they opened the dining room early for us to have breakfast on the day we checked out. The rooftop bar was a treat even if it was overpriced and the dining room is one of the finest in Lisbon for dinner. The chef is a genius. Highly recommended.

“Plenty of boutique style”

We stayed at hotel for 3 nights in good sized prestige room for what was an extremely enjoyable long weekend. Service was very friendly and efficient but not overbearing, consistent with the smaller boutique style of the hotel. Roof terrace bar has terrific views but can become rather busy with limited seating. Ground floor bar is fairly small and smoking is permitted. Buffet breakfast has good choice and staff are very accommodating. Surrounding area is relatively lively at night with a good selection of bars and restaurants but this is not at all intrusive within the hotel. Tram and metro links are close at hand. We would have no hesitation returning to the hotel

“Excellent Hotel”

Friendly and welcoming service. Good breakfast buffet. Comfortable room with DVD/wifi(extra cost)/flat screen TV. Nice bathroom with rain shower shower head. Great location in beautiful neighborhood.

“Perfect honeymoon hotel!”

The staff were fantastic - really friendly and helpful. The food was also superb with fantastic fresh fruit and a great selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We thoroughly recommend a trip to this hotel and look forward to our next visit there. It is ideally placed to explore Lisbon and the staff can arrange a hire car or assist you in navigating the excellent public transport system.

“Perfect location and lovely roof terrace”

Great hotel, excellent breakfast, roof terrace bar was the 'in' place to be, but still quaint and unassuming. Lots of small touches that made it all wonderful. Unexpected wine sent to our room was a treat.

“well situated and friendly thoughtful service”

Good situation, easy access to main parts of Lisbon by metro, tram or on foot. Very friendly staff who actually recognise you after you arrive throughout your stay and are interested in ensuring all is well. Buffet breakfast a little cramped but staff do all they can to keep things moving; buffet lunch also well worth considering if you are in the locality. Room very spacious, well maintained and kept very clean

Traveller's tip

Classier shops are all close by and it is a short walk to two of the funiculars which take you down to the Baixa. Metro close by is on the main line to The Gulbenkian Museum, whichnot only houses a fascinating collection but is an architectural sight in itself.

“Ideal für Kurztrip nach Lissabon”

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten im "In"-Viertel von Lissabon. Die berühmte Tram 28 hält direkt um's Eck. Prima Frühstück Besonders zu empfehlen: die Dachterasse zum Sonnenuntergang: genial!

“Das Bairro Alto Hotel in Lissabon liegt im Zentrum der Stadt”

Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß oder mit der Straßenbahn super zu erreichen. Man ist unmittelbar an der Einkaufsstraße des Chiado Viertels mit seinen Cafes und Geschäften. Das Nachtleben spielt sich in den Gassen in unmittelbarer Nhe des Hotels ab. Der Service ist erstklassig und superfreundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.
