“I would stay here again”

Conveniently located next to transit station.20 min train ride to centre of city. Motel is clean and modern with comfortable rooms. Caters to English speaking guests. Breakfast buffet was sparse but other than that things were good.

Area recommendations
Centro. The downtown water front is definitely worth a look.

“Near the train”

The lobby was very nice. The rooms look nothing like what was on the website. It felt as if the room was made for children. The chair was broken. The bed was lumpy. Since my son and I were suffering from jetlag we just were happy to have a place to sleep. The quilt cover was also soiled. The nicest thign was that we had the breakfast buffet included and that the subway was right downstairs in front of the hotel. They also had a shuttle to and from the airport.

Area recommendations
Visit the town of Oriente, they have a nice mall and a supermarket full of wine.

“I would stay again if needed.”

The location of the hotel is off-center (10 minutes metro ride), if that is of any importance. Otherwise it is a good hotel.

“Nice facility which is well maintained.”

Due to my arrival and departure times the free breakfast did not happen for me. Paying for a later breakfast I enjoyed the best freshly squeezed orange juice that I have ever had. A young lady at the desk was extremely helpful in my getting a rental car at the airport.

“Ok for one night stay close to the airport”

“It is not 4-star hotel-far of it, too far, much to learn to become a 4-star hotel...”

About breakfast. Probably normal people cannot understand how it is to eat eight days exactly same menu. It was minimum sortiment´. I have travelled a lot but never seen cooked eggs, totally cold and hard-cooked! Bananas were dark-peeled, kiwis often ended. Some apples, that was all sortiment. When I asked more, they did not bring....Instead hot milk once it was only nearly warm... When I took a glass (I did not know this was meant to be used during dinner...) and filled it up with tomato juice, the attendant came to my table while I was and said it is forbidden to use that glass. More - he filled out the water into other, so called breakfast-time glass... OMG! Poor hotel, even no library.. ALTIS PARK hotel is far from centre. One day it was not soap, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Just forgotten...I had to phone and ask... But I wanted to clean my dusty skin...

Go and stay in city centre! Lisbon is attractive and. beautiful
