“only stayed one night but would go back”

The hotel was great for the 1 night I stayed for -it was exactly what I needed-a convient hotel that was clean and quiet and good value for money. I didnt eat at the hotel (there was a pub and a frankie and bennies near by) but the restaurant looked ok and the prices appeared good value for money. although not the hotel's fault the roadworks on the surrounding road made it very difficult to navigate to the hotel.

“Find me if you can!”

Roadworks made this hotel virtually inaccessible unless you were quite adventurous in your negotiation of a trading estate and roundabouts 4 miles apart. 4 faults were reported. 2 were addressed, but a broken shower-rail was just pushed back into place. A broken window catch, reported for twelve hours failed to be addressed. Blocked the cold out with towels as I did not want to re-pack and move to another room. I was supposed to be here to relax.

Excellent value for money. Very helpful & friendly staff. Roadworks were a nightmare - not hotel's fault.

“Good budget hotel”

I was pleasantly surprised at the Ibis In Lincoln, having usually used the nearby Travelodge. These two are similar in terms of price per room but the Ibis is the smarter of the two and, I feel, represents good value. I originally asked for a quiet room but was allocated a road side room and the busy A46 was only a few yards away. I was also near what I assumed was the boiler room which hummed all night. Overall, however, I would have no reservations in using the Ibis again (though would check the location of the room before I settled into it fully).

“Basic but clean.”

This was a fine base for an overnight stopover in Lincoln. We loved exploring the town and the Ibis provided a fine base for laying our heads at night. Not very central - so you will need a car if you are planning on heading into town.
