Great hotel! A little older but a very comfortable hotel in a great area. Within walking distance or a cheap cab ride from wrigleyville area. Cab ride for 5 cost 9 bucks to wrigley. I recommend this little charming hotel to anyone.
This hotel is right of the 'L' on Belmont, has almost every activity you could want within walking distance. If you enjoy baseball this is right down the road from Wrigley field. Hotel staff has been pleasant to work with and rooms are comfotable.
The Hotel is in a nice area of Linxoln Park and the Staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The rooms are in keeping with an older hotel but they were huge and clean. The housekeeping staff was great and made coming back from our day a real treat!
I was in Chicago to run a conference- I directed my attendees to make reservations at three hotels, including the Day's Inn, where I chose to stay with my staff. It was an easy walk to St. Clement's, the (beautiful!) Catholic Church that hosted us. There were great restaurants and bars within a block or two... the staff suggestions regarding restaurants were perfect. I was very pleased.
"The stay at Wrigley was pleasant and comfortable"
It was a great place, centrally located, near the CTA Red Line station, Addison. The staff were were very courteous and helpful. Only one point is one of the staff did not understand the time difference problem I had, since I am from India. He insisted that I don't use the kitchen after midnight. His concern was justified. But I hope the Wrigley management understands this Jet lag problem. Breakfast was awesome with pancakes, bread, toaster, fruits (green apple, read apple, tangerines, and Chiquita bananas), freshly-brewed coffee, peanut butter, honey and corn low-fat bread spread. We could use the refrigerator to store our food items. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Toilets and shower rooms were very clean and hot water came regularly. Recreation common room was also great.
Trendy Lincoln Park is home to boutiques, movie theaters, stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and clubs. The 1,200-acre park of the same name is also here, including the admission-free Lincoln Park Zoo within its grounds. St. Vincent de Paul and St. Josaphat’s ─ two architecturally significant Polish cathedrals ─ lend the neighborhood a touch of Old World charm.
