“Highly recommend”
Beautiful and historic hotel with views of thatched cottages. Stones throw from Adare Manor. Quaint town. Great stopping point if you're driving through Ireland. The irish breakfast was wonderful. We plan to return and spend some extra time here!
“outstanding hotel”
Everything about this hotel is great. It is bright and cheery, which is helpful when it's cloudy. It is comfortable with plenty of space in the room. The staff was very helpful and even offered to give us a wake up call after we asked for an early breakfast so we could leave for Shannon. The tourist area is just outside the door, which makes for a nice place to wander around. The restaurant in the hotel was very good, with quite good, reasonably priced wine choices. The hotel was recommended to us by friends who stay there when they are flying out of Shannon the next morning. We will do the same. And did I mention it's reasonably priced?
“Absolute perfection!”
We arrived early and they told us to go and have a cuppa in the bar and they would let us know when the room was ready which was after about 15 minutes. When we got to our room we were in absolute heaven. So spacious and beautiful! We ended up cancelling the next leg of our trip to stay another night. The customer service was fabulous. The staff were all so genuinely friendly (which i think is pretty much standard in ireland). We ate in the restaurant one night which was supurb although a little too posh for us and we felt a bit uncomfortable. We left after our main course then had our desert brought to our room which was a treat. The second night we ate in the bar and had an amazing meal. The Guinness was flowing and the food was perfection. Buffet breakfast was not the best we've had but it was nice enough. The yoghurt and muesli was my favorite. Would definately recommend a stay if travelling in this direction! You will not regret it!
“Great experience”
My husband and I stayed at the Dunraven Hotel in Adare Ireland for 10 days while on our vacation. We found the staff to be extremely accommodating and the rooms were quaint, clean, and most inviting. The building is an historic structure and is exceptionally well kept. The location was a great for exploring Adare as well as western Ireland. The gardens were charming and I would definitely return.
“Lovely hotel with great staff and beatiful quaint little town! very happy we stayed”
Great location & make one feel in the country and relaxed from hussle & bustle of cities. I'd like to explore the area and hunting someday too!. We wish we ate dinner too!. Mike,
“A real 4 Star treat.”
We arrived late at the Hotel. They offered to have the dining room stay open for the 6 of us. She gave us the menu so we could preorder. food was excellent, service was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was very good. The beds & linens were wonderful. Nice upto date bathrooms. We only stayed one night, would loved to have stayed longer!! A real 4 star treat!!!!!!!!!
“A beautiful place!”
The Dunraven Arms was one of our favorite hotels on our recent trip to Ireland. The hotel is very old (1700's?) but incredibly well maintained with beautiful gardens. The staff was great, our room was amazing, food was super, and we even had free wireless internet for our laptop. The hotel is located within walking distance to pretty much anything in town.
“A very good hotel in beautiful Adare!”
Very friendly and efficient service, huge room, comfortable beds, wonderful bathroom all set in the beautiful, quaint town of Adare. One of the few hotels we came across which has WIFI. The scones at breakfast were scrumptious too! Highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely go back.
