“Very friendly staff - let down by noise issues”
I was staying in Limerick on business and chose the Pery's Best Western. A nicely presented hotel, with very friendly staff. The breakfast was good although often ran out of things in the buffet. The main problem was at the weekend there seems to be a very loud band night in the function room until about 00:30. Until then even on the 2nd floor some noise from this can be heard.
“Comfortable, convenient hotel in Limerick”
The hotel offered friendly, efficient staff and a better than average-sized room.
“Good Value”
Two blocks from train station and close to downtown shopping and restaurants. We got a very nice corner room with terrific airflow. A little noisy at night but that's to be expected in any city. This is great "base" to explore Killarney, Kilkenny, Cork, Bunratty, etc.
“A great value”
We wanted to be able to walk to the downtown area and this hotel's location was ideal. This was a very nice place and a great value for the price paid.
“Rugby Trip”
Great hotel, have tried others in Limerick and always return to Perys.Convenient location, friendly staff, sociable bar and great breakfast.
“Killarney”
Very conveniently located. Danny Mann's was great. Nice hotel.
“Not the most comfortable sleep, but clean and free wifi”
I stayed here over the weekend for two nights and chose this hotel mostly because of its close proximity to the bus/train station. The station is within a 5 minute walking distance and is within a 10 minute walk to Arthur's Quay and tourist information. I also had chosen this hotel because it offered free wifi connection. They give you vouchers that last for 24 hours at a time, but guests are welcome to grab more vouchers. The staff I came into contact with were pleasant enough, not overtly friendly, but were efficient at check in and check out. I was placed into one of the end rooms on the second floor, 220s, which meant that I had to walk down four different corridors and past a few doors to reach my room from the elevator each time. The stairs I passed by were marked for 'emergency use' only so there was no shortcut available. The bed in the room was on the hard side and the pillows on the flat side, which kind of surprised me for Best Western. I also was able to hear the voices of the people in the room beside me. The only other downside was that everytime one of my neighbours closed their door it created a very loud slam and was not subtle. Other than that, the room was cleaned promptly by housekeeping and towels replaced. Overall a convenient place to make a short stay, but if I were planning to stay longer in Limerick I might have opted for somewhere more comfortable.
“Convenient location and adequate”
Like much of Limerick the hotel is a bit run down and old fashioned, but it is very conveniently located a couple of blocks from the train station. There was little traffic noise in my room, but if you want to avoid noise from squeaky floors make sure you get a room on the top floor.
“Hotel Best Western Limerick”
