After staying at the Londa for a week, we would highly recommend the hotel. We were upgraded for free to a suite, which was lovely. It was a very good size, on the first floor, and had a partial view of the sea. Every night we were offered an evening service, which was a nice little touch, and fresh towels every day. The Molton Brown toiletries were also another signifier that this hotel is up market.
The pool area is great, the sun loungers are comfortable, and you can have some great food from the Bar. The private beach is also very nice, but tends to be quite crowded of a morning.
The Caprice Restaurant is lovely, and we had quite a few nice meals there. The breakfast is also very nice, with a large selection of fruits, breads and pastries, as well as cold meats, cheese and many cooked breakfast options upon request.
The main square is easily reachable by bus, and there are quite a few nice restaurants there. We had a very nice meal at a restaurant in the corner, where the Mousakka and Lamb Kleftiko are to die for.
Overall a great hotel, one we would love to visit again.
On arrival you are made to feel very welcome in a family run business where nothing is too much bother, having the pool made for a great start or a great end to the day and would recommend its use. Lots of different places to eat within 10 mins walk from the hotel. From the private car park we used our hired car to explore the island, you are less then 2 mins from the motorway which gives you easy access to everywhere on the island.
For any of your Tech problems there is a local computer repair shop as you leave the hotel to the left less than a mile away address Agios Tychonas Kantra Village Shop 2 and Andy is very helpful. Although WiFi is available in the room at a minimal cost many guests would congregate in the reception to go on line at no cost which made it feel more intimate with the family and staff. From reception you step through the main entrance turn left directly into Drifters a very popular restaurant bar which always had a great atmostphere and would recommend this for a relaxing wind down at the end of a busy hot day.
First of all I would say don't stay there!
It looked like the place hadnt been touched in any way since the 1970's, i.e. decoration. There seemed to be hardly anyone else staying there, which was weird, as we were there for the wine festival. So you would expect it to be full. We did randomly get a 4 poster bed but in the room, there were tiles falling off the walls, there were cigarette butts in a decorative jug, there was no hot water in the shower. And when we came down for breakfast, there was a bit of cereal and a few slices of bread out and nothing else! We decided to give it a miss and buy breakfast in a cafe instead. It was overall a very surreal experience and I couldnt wait to get out of there!
The hotel looked amazing. Staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The Spa really made it special, a wonderful taste of luxury. The food impressed us every night even on the half board menu. Fresh, tasty and beautifully presented meals, the salads, soups and mains were exceptional. Would love to return and would recommend to others who want to visit Limassol.
