“A real home away from home Friendly,clean and comfortable overlooking the sea”
Second Home Peru is a real home away from home So relaxing I booked a sea view room and it was wonderful. The view across the garden to the sea was amazing Went to sleep listening to the waves on the beach. Very friendly hosts and good breakfast. You can even visit Vincent in his artist's studio The pool is set into the hillside A real find in Lima away from the noise of the city.
“Most Beautiful Place I Have Ever Slept”
We were amazed at the beauty of the building itself, let alone the art by Delfin that fills the place. The soaking tub eased away the aches that I still had from the Inca trail. The staff was very friendly, and Lillian was a hoot. We want to move in permanently!
“Artist's Hideaway”
Home of Peruvian artist Victor Delphin is filled with his art and we had a chance to meet him and tour his workshop which made the whole experience memorable to say the least. Beds were fine, breakfast adequate, grounds were magnificent, setting overlooking the coast is awesome. Worth the price!
“A gem in Barranco”
I've been living in Miraflores for the year and if you are looking for a luxury-type inn, Second Home Peru is the place. I went there with my wife after we got married and it was the best combination of culture, comfort, and beauty.
“Like staying in an art gallery”
One of the most unique and charming places we've ever stayed. It was living in an art gallery. There was a sculpture garden in the entrance and artwork throughout the property including the bathroom. The setting on the cliffs of Lima overlooking the Pacific was spectacular. The grounds were gorgeous and staff friendly and helpful. The location was safe and convenient for exploring the city. The Bridge of Sighs was about two blocks away and there were some excellent restaurants nearby. It was a nice walk along the cliffs from Barranco to Miraflores or you could travel by taxi for $3 or less. The perfect place to stay in Lima.
“Would recomend it to anyone!”
Worth the money! You will not get a experience like this at a chain hotel. Enjoy the coffee in the warm breakfast room. Walk the grounds and ask questions about the artist

Een romantische Engelse villa, die is aangepast aan de eisen van deze tijd. Het hele hotel is gedecoreerd met schitterende kunst van Victor Delfin, de combinatie van antiek en modern sprak ons erg aan. Ook de kamer was met kunst gedecoreerd en comfortabel. De bedden zijn prima. Via het terras, waar een gezellig zitje staat hadden wij prachtig uitzicht op zee. Barranco ligt op een veilige loopafstand van Miraflores. De eigenaresse geeft je het gevoel meer dan welkom te zijn en doet er alles aan het naar je zin te maken. Second Home Peru is een absolute aanrader met een prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.
