“Luv in Lima”
The location of this hotel took a huge stress off of me! The bell service people, (especially Antonio) were extremely nice, and I am not that easy to please! I was traveling with my two children to Cusco, and landed in Lima at 11:15 p.m. with a 10:10 a.m. departure to Cusco. Not having to hassle with taxi service both upon our arrival and departure was fantastic. I even got to to let my children sleep in for our departure while I went and checked my bag for the flight. I then walked back to the hotel for a lovely buffet breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to first time fliers into Lima with a short layover. The room was sufficient for my needs. It was the people and the location, and the European feel of the lobby and restaurant area that made it completely acceptable.
“Needs work”
The hotel is extremely convenient to the airport; just a short 5 minute walk on a skyway from the airport. The carpeting in our room needs to be cleaned. Staff was very helpful.
“Gets the job done and over priced”
They got you and they know it, sleep in the Lima airport or stay at the hotel. We didn't arrive until 10pm and departed at 6:30am so needed a quick place to crash. Way overpriced but you don't have any option other than sleeping in the food court at the airport. I'd stay there again if I had to, otherwise if your travel plans at all allow time to get into the city then go that route. The pictures are much better than the actual hotel, it's not bad though, more like a 2 star hotel in the US.
“lima a/p”
new clean very convenient
“The Ramada Costa Del Sol Lima Airport is everything you want in an airport hotel”
it would be hard to be more convenient. The hotel is literally across the street from baggage claim. Check is quick and efficient and they offer you a free pisco sour upon registration. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. I have stayed here for several years as I transited through Lima to other points in Peru and I have been able to get a shower, some sleep and a good breakfast before catching the next flight. Every airport hotel should be this easy to access, no shuttle you just walk across the street.
“very conveinent”
Clean, modern & perfect 4 overnight stays @ the airport.
“KU”
Front of station location was very good. Also security was good.
“20m from the airport”
The convenience of its location 20m from the airport is the reason to stay here. Not cheap, but standard airport hote. Its well run, nice to stay in and close..........that's all you need to know. Surrounding area is grim, so no little walks around.
“Meets the need--secure your valuables”
I made use of this airport based hotel in order to meet my wife who arrived at 11:00 pm for us to take a 5:30 a.m. departure to Cusco, so it was strictly for convenience. You pay for that convenience with downtown prices because so many travelors heading to Machu Picchu do the same thing. Also keep in mind that Peru has a dual price structure for foreigners and the hotel is not cheap for what you get. That said, it served and they have a nice restaurant and bar to pass the time in. Our big problem was that a service worker or bell hop burst into our room unannounced and without knocking on the excuse of checking the mini bar and caught me all but naked. Not much of an apology was given by the front desk and all I can say is that I was glad my wife was not alone there.
“Good passthrough hotel”
Good passthrough hotel in the Lima airport, excellent food in the hotel restaurant
