“Nice Hotel”

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The staff is a very helpful. However, the noise at night is disturbing. It last until about 2 a.m. Be sure to ask for a hotel that does not face the street.

Area recommendations
Mriflores. It is the nicest area in Lima.

“Good, convenient and priced right”

For those on a budget, this is a great hotel. It was clean, well maintained and was within a 10 min walk to the main square.

“Terra Andina”

Nice hotel in Miraflores. A bit too much on the group side, and breakfast could be better, especially the coffee.

“Good hotel to stay in Lima for a few days”

Casa Andina is a nice and clean hotel in a good location. Employees were helpful and received us with a smile. Rooms were spacious but disclosed some smell of mold. Prices were a little more expensive than expected for this class of hotel.

Area recommendations
Paracas is a three hour bus trip from Lima (get the bus from Cruz Del Sur) and is where the desert meets the ocean. We stayed at La Hacienda hotel and it was more than worth it. Rates were cheap and the hotel has the most beautiful pool. The tour to Islas Ballestras provided stunning pictures and we also had a great time at Reserva Nacional de Paracas and riding a buggy by the dunes.
Dining
Dinning is the best thing you can do in Lima. We had spectacular ceviches at Astrid&Gastón and at Pescados Capitales
Outdoors or beach
Go to Paracas and stay at La Hacienda. You won't regret it.

“Comfortable, Great Location, Accommodating Staff.”

I recently traveled to Lima and decided to stay at the Casa Andina Classic Miraflores Centro hotel based on the reasonable rate being offered, its location in the Miraflores neighborhood and the favorable reviews it had received from other travelers. The hotel is located in the Miraflores neighborhood on a quieter side-street but a short walk to plaza kennedy and to the shops and restaurants that the Miraflores area has to offer. I felt safe walking in the area and the location of the mercado artesanal in the immediate area of the hotel was also very convenient. The hotel staff was pleasant and assisted in arranging airport pickup as my flight arrived quite late at night. The room was simple yet comfortable and hot water was always available. I will not hesitate to stay at this property again when i return to Lima.

“good hotel in Miraflores”

Casa Andina Classic Miraflores Centro is a nice, non-smoking hotel without carpets and with aircondition (excellent for people with asthma/allergy). Staff are nice and helpful, and the area is safe

Area recommendations
Miraflores, where the hotel is, is a safe and nice area with lots of hotels and restaurants, and close to the sea. A safe area also for women who travel alone.
Getting around
some advices about safety and keeping your things in Lima: do not get a taxi in the street if you are not with Peruvians, the taxis that the hotel (as well as restaurants and museums) get you are safe. Local buses are safe, and you get to know the city in a different way (but hold on to your things!) When you are in a taxi, always leave your handbag on the floor, where it is more difficult to see from the outside. The road from the airport to Miraflores/Lima city center goes through a not very safe area - try to get a taxi where your luggage cannot be seen from the outside, and keep everything, handbags included, out of sight from anyone outside.

“very comfortable hotel in Peru”

When you go into Casa Andina, it makes you feel comfortalbe and warm. Just like you back your home.

“Clean and Convenient”

The Casa Andina is a good hotel for a stopover or business. Its not luxurious or fancy but has everything you need - clean room and a convenient location. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was quite nice!
