“An old pearl full of charm and good vibes”
Antigua Miraflores was a hotel which for me was a deja vu of many hotels in this category which I have visited in the past, managed by their owners, doing all things right when their funding is limited, but where the essential is in the way the staff is treating their guests, how streamlined the small resources are organized and how the client is at the center of everything. An example was the breakfast. All orders are based around a structure of juice, coffee and bread. Then you have seven or eight additional choices, which goes from basic continental or campesino, which includes a peruvian tamale. The place is small, and you will get in contact with other fellow travellers, and this is the very charmy aspect of it, since this hotel is attractive for mature passengers, not in the party mood. The rooms are of old architecture, but everything is clean, comfortable and as a hotel room should look like. We stayed there only two nights, but I will consider Antigua Miraflores for a longer stay in Lima whenever I need to come for work or similar for a week or even a month, if you are on a budget. I do recommend Antigua, you will have a good old fashioned hotel experience.
“Not great but o.k.”
The hotel is showing its age, but it is fairly well maintained. The staff was cordial and the breakfast was good. The location is not really close to any of the major points of interest but, if you enjoy walking and are up to it, you can walk to the craft markets, parks, ocean, and other worthwhile sights without too much of a strain. We would probably not return to this hotel because the room was a bit too small and too cold. Luckily, we were out most of the daylight hours so we weren't really bothered by the noise of the remodeling going on around our room.
“I WOULD GO BACK AGAIN.”
I LOVED THIS HOTEL.IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN AND THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT.I DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINS.
“Lima”
The Antigua was fine for the price. It was not new and luxurious. See 'other'.
“Convenient but inadequate hot water”
Hotel staff friendly, but didn't seem to know much beyond Miraflores itself, and the Tourist Information stall at Parque Kennedy weren't very helpful, though I went on two of their tours, which were fine. Note: no hot water in the shower in the bedroom - at all.
“Full of antiques”
In case you didn't realize from it's name, the hotel has all antique fixtures and accompanyments. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not for you. They do have wireless internet in all the rooms, but the carpeting and bedsheets are old and the common areas boast antique furniture. It is comfortable none-the-less, and has a very helpful staff and a good breakfast.
“Would not go back”
Our room was very outdated, all furniture needs to be replaced. Breakfast consisted of coffee and one bread roll, nothing else. Very dissapointing. You can find better place for this money. Won't stay again. Staff is helpful.
“Great price. Good location. Clean and professional.”
The hotel was very nice with garden courtyard in the center. Continental breakfast was included and the room was small but perfect since we were out and about all day. Neighborhood is pleasant and easy to get around. Central location, close to Park Kennedy with a lot of restaurants and cafes.
“Good choice”
The hotel was very conveniently located close to the restaurants, shopping, and night life. The rooms were clean, and there was free drinking water available. My only complaints were that the beds were not very comfortable(they retained a lot of heat, so I found myself getting very hot in the middle of the night), and the safe boxes were straight from the 17th century, complete with huge key. The hotel has a lot of charm and friendly staff. P.S. If you are a smoker, you have to be outside the property to smoke. Not just outside, but outside the main gate.
“Very warm, quaint and homely”
Miraflores is lovely and upscale - not truly Peru, of course, but for Western visitors a safe, clean and attractive place ot be. And in the midst of a neighborly quiet are, this is charming hotel, especially the old original portion where we stayed. You feel you are in a friendly bed and breakfast in a small town in New England

Miraflores, Peru: The man-made landmarks of Miraflores--its gleaming towers, upscale shops, and foreign embassies--are no match for its natural beauty. Here, jagged cliffs give way to the Pacific. Inhabited since ancient times, Miraflores is home to Huaca Pucclana, once an administrative hub of activity built around 500 AD. Nowadays, the buzz has moved south to the parks along El Malecón and Larcomar mall.
