Great value for money
Fantastic! We paid 33EUR for 4 people per night! I lost booking confirmation and was worried if I'll be able to check-in, but everything was ok, lady at lobby found my booking everything went smoothly. Free parking at the front of hotel. Excellent location, good breakfast (a bit expensive 12EUR/head), but there are some nice alternatives around to have great morning coffee an meal. --

Nice downtown hotel
Nice room and a nice rate. Conveniently located downtown. Check in took quite a while because about eight people checked in all at once. The lone desk clerk was very nice but could have used some help. I would gladly stay here again. Breakfast was offered at a great rate but I left too early to try it.

Good value for the money. We didnt expect much, but the place was nice. Staff very welcoming. On site restaurant was lovely.

Perfect location good service, good breakfast
Very good location and good breakfast. Room was clean and good. Hotel parking space is limited but there is parking nearby also.

Hotel Liva is my favorite place to stay when I visit my home town. Affordable , friendly staff, very clean, delicious breakfast. Great location! Beach, park, Farmers Market, restaurants, shopping, everything is within walking distance.

Nice and comfortable
A lot of construction-work going on - very difficult to come around and also to reach the hotel. Could have been advised - it was a very big work, that will take years to finish..... Nice fine hotel - comfortable - but missing something personality.

It is a comfortable hotel. Well placed, the sights are within walking distance. The staff is friendly. Breakfast (buffet) was very good. I liked Liepaja, especially the beach.

Good hotel in city centre
Large and comfortable room. The receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming, but the bar/restaurant staff were rude and surly. A shame, as the food and beer were excellent.

The staff really go out of their way to please and accommodate. I wish I could say the same for the room cleaners. The food was very good although as a English food man far to fancy and not down to earth enough. I would like to suggest to the management that not all guests are Michelin staff looking to rate with stars but just people that want a hearty meal. Overall a pleasant stay and would defiantly use this hotel again.

I'm sure amazing not in the winter
Stayed at Liva for 8 nights for a work event. Mind you this was in the dead of winter, early January. A few of my colleagues stayed in the same hotel, I have something to compare and contrast my experience to. My room was so cold at night for the 1st three nights that I had to wear BOTH my winter coats. There was an unadjustable, single, oil heater in the room that barely kept the room from literally freezing. Over the course of the next few days it some how got warmer, but not much. Some of my friends requested to be even moved to a lower floor, hoping it would help... Mixed results. The room was cleaned on a semi-regular bases at best. The wooden floors were dirty on my arrival and stayed that way....

Central location.
We had family party in Liepaja, celebration facility was located conveniently-first floor- very satisfied. Roomwas large inaf for two adults and nine years old boy. The only backslide was awful quality of inroom TV.

high quality at a low cost
for me, this hotel offered the perfect room, facilities and location for a one week break from my travelling routine. central location, which was essential given the cold winter weather, yet close to the bus and tram stops to connect with the train and bus stations. pretty much everything else the city has to offer, in winter, is right on the hotel's door step. very nice reception and cleaning staff. useful foreign currency exchange booth offering reasonable rates, too. i could not have asked for more......and the low cost of my cosy room was a pleasant surprise !

Amazing location - really comfortable hotel
For the location in Liepaja and the price, this hotel absolutely cannot be beat!! The multi-lingual staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and quiet, and there was great access to all of the city's interesting sites and public transportation nearby. I would absolutely stay here again next time I was in Liepaja.

Great location near the tourist information center, an amazing restaurant, a mall with grocery store, and a 15 minute walk from the beach. Breakfast was very good. The great location came with some noise from all of the tourists who were out late, but that is understandable.
