“Not in Lewes”

Good value for money. But this hotel is not in Lewes. It is a £15 taxi ride outside Lewes.

“Handy for ferry stopover.”

The hotel was fine for a stop over with good food on offer both in the evening and for breakfast. The owners have done well with the space available.

“Hotel is not in Lewes!”

We were let down by the information on the website, which states the hotel is in Lewes. It turns out it is not, as it's situated in Halland, 7 miles outside of Lewes. Not a problem if you have a car, but less ideal if you are on a hiking trip. We ended up not being able to use the booking.
