“Carmen”

It is a business hotel that provides a great value for the money if you have your own transportation. The room is very confortable, provides WIFI connection and the breakfast is a complete meal for a reasonable amount. I recommend it for business and family travelers.

Area recommendations
It is a must to go to downtown visit the Cathedral, the main plaza, the Museums and the San Isidoro Church. A perfect stop on the way to Santiago de Compostela.

“Excellent Hotel, Outstanding Food (Hotel 3-stars, Restaurant 4-stars)”

The Cortes de Leon Hotel is located a few miles out of town (Leon, Spain) and it is an excellent value for the money. It has free Wi-Fi internet and an outstanding restaurant. The room is very clean and the staff is very efficient and friendly. I would rate this hotel a solid 3-stars (by American standards) and the restaurant a well deserved 4-stars.

Traveller's tip
Although the restaurant at the hotel is on the pricey side, it is well worth it.

“sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis”

das Hotel ist bestens geeignet, Urlaub am Jakobsweg zu machen (wenn man nicht wandert), Leon ist keine Touristengegend, es wird kein Deutsch gesprochen, es gibt kein deutsches Fernsehen (was nicht unbedingt ein Nachteil ist).

Area recommendations
alle Orte am Jakobsweg sind interessant, man sollte unbedingt nach Oviedo fehren, die Fahrt ist schon ein Erlebnis.

“Cortes de Leon à Leon (Espagne) : Grand confort à quelques minutes du centre-ville”

Rien à reprocher à cet hôtel très confortable si ce ne sont son aspect extérieur (un grand parallelepipède rectangle en bord de nationale) et son éloignement par rapport au centre ville (15' , véhicule obligatoire). Sinon tout est parfait une fois à l'intérieur.

Area recommendations
Leon est une très belle ville méconnue, donc à découvrir pour ses monuments (on est sur le chemin de Saint Jacques), sa magnifique cathédrale et son art de vivre (tapas, restos, vie nocturne)
