The Lembongan Beach club is in the perfect position, Walking distance to some great restaurants (batu kurang/deck bar and Indianah) if you wish or stay within the hotel for beautiful food, stunning sunsets and delicious cocktails. The fast boats pull up along the beach aswell as many private Balinese boats that can take you out to snorkel with the mantas. We had a private pool villa which met all our needs and more! We loved every minute of our stay and will be back as soon as we can! Maybe even with the kids next time, as we found it also to be suitable not only as a couple retreat but also very child friendly:)
We wanted to go to lembongen to a quieter area in Bali - and this was great. The hotel was great!! The views from the restaurant/bar at sunset, an on site spa and the gourmet meals, my husband & I really had a great relaxing stay. The front desk can arrange anything from scooter rentals to snorkeling trips.
I don't know how anybody can write something bad about this hotel. The huts are great, sleeping room with en-suite and balcony, built in a typical Balinese style. There are 2 pools that give enough space for everybody. Watervolleyball is one option, sitting at the nicely arranged poolbar is another. There are some day visitor thst get ferried over from Bali. They make the hotel a little lively between 11am to 4pm. Apart from this it was very relaxing here. Breakfast beside the beach under the palms with view onto the beach was one of the highlights. The dinner menu was the best we could find along the beach. All thumps up, I can strongly recommend staying here.
primitive huts added to the experience , awesome views over the reef breakers , nice to dine looking out with million $ view for breakfast or dinner .Locals that don't hound you like the mainland , quiet secluded
Nusa Lembongan is how I imagine Bali was 30 years ago. Locals go about their business, the accommodation is simple but comfortable, the food is good and the weather is perfect. Sunset Coin, located a short ride away from the boat harbour, and pretty much everything else (it's only a small island) is local hospitality at its best. The staff are always happy to chat, give you advice on what to do and where to go, book tours for you, and make sure your stay on their island is one to remember.
The restaurant at Sunset Coin is simple and seriously tasty. It's also cheap! Breakfast is great and a nice escape from the ostentatious buffets of the five star resorts back in Bali. Try eggs done any way, or the staple banana pancakes. For dinner, be sure and save some room for the Banana Tempura (pisang goreng) and ice-cream. Simple but really good!
Hire a scooter from your hosts and safely explore the island. Roads are sketchy in parts, but that adds to the island adventure!
Scoot over to Mushroom Bay and Tamarind Bay for a dip, but get their nice and early or later in the day or share your beach time with the endless tour boats dropping snorkelers, sun worshippers and day tourists off.
For sunset, head over to Sunset Beach Club, just a short 100m stroll away, and enjoy with a cocktail and some tasty food, or follow any of the cliff top trails to say goodbye to another perfect Indonesian day.
At night, a mosquito net, fan and air-con will ensure restful, sweet dreams.
I stayed at at Tamarind Beach Bungalows for a week. The room was a very large comfortable space with tons of air flow and good lighting. There was no TV or Airconditioning; however, was perfect for Nusa Lembongan, a quite Indonesian island of Bali. Staff was quite accomodating, grounds were clean,a dn Pool was good size. Restaurant on site was fine and all meals were good; however, would have enjoyed a little more flare and variety.
Just came back from a week at Sedokjineng and absolutely loved it!
The location is tucked away on the other side if the island so it suits couples happy to jump on a scooter or those happy to stay close to mushroom beach. Mushroom beach is a 200m walk away just down the hill and is definitely one of the best beaches on the island. It has enough resturants to eat some where different each night but it's still relatively quiet compared to Juleng Butu main harbour .
The reception area is very basic but once you walk around the corner it's really lovely. Lush beautiful gardens and 7 cute little villas. Our villa was number 2 and we were lucky enough to be the only guests for about 4 of our 6 days. Most of the villas have a view of the ocean and the view from the pool is lovely, overlooking a paddock and the sea.
The staff were great, Badu and Katut were really helpful, friendly and nothing was too much for them. The bed was made every day and the villa was perfectly clean and in good condition. Breakfast was included and they make a mean banana pancake.
There's a spa just down the road that had just opened call Humulaya and they offered really good quality treatments at good prices.
I don't know what the noise would be like if they have a full house but we had a great time and will definitely be back.
