On a relatively quiet beach, good food and friendly staff but VERY tired eg torn towels, leaking taps, sometimes cold showers. One night had a very loud crowd behind the hotel, not one staff member around at 11 pm, so had to quieten them ourselves. The lanai is comfy and well appointed but desperately needs maintenance. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Have stayed 4 times, and the Lembongan roads are much worse.

It was a nice time at Tanis Villa and it was much better than I have initially expected. The guy at the front desk seems a bit unorganized, chaotic and distracted but at the end he managed to help me with my inquiries and made my stay enjoyable. They are still doing some construction works - the noise can be annoying. And there were doves taking a bath in the swimming pool - I am not so excited about sharing the swimming pool with animals.
Just came back from a week at Sedokjineng and absolutely loved it!
The location is tucked away on the other side if the island so it suits couples happy to jump on a scooter or those happy to stay close to mushroom beach. Mushroom beach is a 200m walk away just down the hill and is definitely one of the best beaches on the island. It has enough resturants to eat some where different each night but it's still relatively quiet compared to Juleng Butu main harbour .
The reception area is very basic but once you walk around the corner it's really lovely. Lush beautiful gardens and 7 cute little villas. Our villa was number 2 and we were lucky enough to be the only guests for about 4 of our 6 days. Most of the villas have a view of the ocean and the view from the pool is lovely, overlooking a paddock and the sea.
The staff were great, Badu and Katut were really helpful, friendly and nothing was too much for them. The bed was made every day and the villa was perfectly clean and in good condition. Breakfast was included and they make a mean banana pancake.
There's a spa just down the road that had just opened call Humulaya and they offered really good quality treatments at good prices.
I don't know what the noise would be like if they have a full house but we had a great time and will definitely be back.
I had visited this very same location in 2004 and it was amazing! and now in 2014 I was back to find out it has gotten a lot bigger and sold to Bali Hai resorts that advertise that you can do many things from diffrent types of boating to diving but I found that most of the activitys leave from the main land and not the island.
They seem to be catering to groups as for the 3 days I was there I didn't even have a staff person ask if I wanted a drink when out at the pool :(
"Quiet location with great views and friendly staff"
Our family had a great stay at Pandana. Knowing where the hotel was located, we hired motor bikes for our stay and were free to travel all over Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Cenigan to our favourite places and restaurants. It was a short walk down the hill to get a boat to go snorkelling or fishing. The food and drinks/mini bar were cheap by comparison to other places we have stayed. The food was excellent. The room was great. The only negatives were the lack of hot water and strong chlorine in the pool. We stayed 9 nights and probably only had hot water for 3 of them. Given the hot weather and the great pool, it wasn't that big a deal.
Firstly have to say a big thank you to Marija! She was so helpful with everything we needed especially organising our snorkelling experience with a local friend of hers. The hotel itself was really comfortable and exactly what you need for a few nights out of Bali. Definitely recommend!
It was lovely.... the island itself is breathtaking and our stay at the Indiana made it that much more beautiful. Staff was great, you're right on the beach, food is amazing, and the rooms are gorgeous. I'll be back!!!
Lembongan Island is a tropical getaway located on crystal clear Sanghiang Bay with panoramic views of eastern Bali and Mount Agung. The island's remote villages welcome surfers, backpackers, and day-trippers to snorkel through pristine coral reefs or tour local seaweed farms. Garden bungalows and beachfront villas staffed by friendly islanders welcome overnight visitors to enjoy a leisurely stay.
