“A little disappointing”

It's a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting, but they let themselves down through poor service, in the restaurant it was appalling, and the check in was below what you would expect. The rooms are quaint but an over use of low energy bulbs make them cave like. They need to ensure they are properly maintained, shower was cold and the showerhead blocked and spraying out a little water in every direction. On a positive note the food was top standard, just spoilt by the rest. To top it all they charged me for the room when it had been prepaid. Won't be going back
