Good central location parking needs to be clearer on how to get there but overall a lovely stay. Particular thanks to the restaurant staff who made us feel extremely welcome

Happy traveler.
The staff were, as always pleasant and helpful. The service for breakfast was swift yet relaxing. The room, bedding and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Just one small point, some of the paintwork was a little knocked.

A lovely hotel.
I thoroughly enjoyed my night at The Three Swans. Your receptionist was friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate, bar and breakfast staff were lovely. Well done, everyone.

This should definitely be a 4* hotel. My room was huge. The breakfast room was absolutely gorgeous with very clean and homely furniture and a lovely breakfast. The staff were relaxed and did not seem to be rushing around, which makes me feel relaxed. I felt I was in a large complex as the hotel has many great looking room blocks. The restaurants were very clean.

The rooms and hallways are in desperate need of a refurbishment. The rooms are not clean. Dirty and grimy television remote and the room in general appears to not be given a deep clean but only a superficial daily clean.

I chose this location as a stopover for Sundays event at the Armourgeddon Miltiary museum . A birthday present for the other half . It was such a welcoming and homely environment . such a wonderful place to stay and would really recommend to other.

All of the staff were super friendly and helped with anything we needed. They all appear to enjoy their jobs. The hotel has a wonderful warm and friendly feel to it. Beautiful window boxes surround different seating areas. We will return and stay again.

The hotel provided the facilities we needed and was in generally good condition. Our room in particular had everything we would have expected and had been recently refurbished. The staff we spoke with in reception, the hotel bar and in the restaurant at breakfast time, as well as the housekeeping staff were all helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient. This all made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great pub, central, good breakfast
On the whole a very pleasant stay. Charming hotel, lovely staff, lovely pretty courtyard area to sit outside, great salsa band in the Saturday night in the outdoor area. Bfast was well stocked and good quality. The eating areas I. The pub were nicely decorated, modern with old charm and character. The only slight downside was that the room felt a bit dark and dated. We were slightly disappointed when we first walked in - I’m not really sure why because some of the fittings were quite modern (eg lights) but it was just a bit lack-lustre. The bathroom door looked very old fashioned and worn (I know this sounds picky), which made the quality of the room feel a bit lesser, HOWEVER, there were plenty of toiletries and nice quality refreshments in the room. The beds were clean and comfy and despite having single glazed windows, the room was very quiet which we really appreciated. It was a good visit and we’d stay again - the dated dark room was literally the only thing to criticise which didn’t spoil anything. Pub is in a great position in centre with other eateries and shops on doorstep. The food coming out to others looked lovely and they have a rustic outdoor pizza oven too, which was popular.

A very pleasant stay at a beautifully kept olde world coaching inn in the centre of town. Service was excellent and staff were very helpful.

Had to request change of superior room (30). Excessive dust blatantly obvious on headboard & furniture edges. Even worse particularly dusty inside 4 drawer chest & wardrobe. Deep thorough clean needed. No WiFi available on 2 different manufacturers phones in this room.Moved away from the main building to anther building (Bewick) next to the MOT station & workshop on the grounds. Better room but some simple cleaning issues need addressing. WiFi good in this building. Don't expect a peaceful night's sleep. All the doors seem to slam shut with some very inconsiderate guests making little or no effort to close the doors quietly after 2359hrs. Staff were helpful, breakfast buffet excellent but Expedia write up for the superior room includes dressing gowns & slippers. This is not correct. Not Available staff informed us!
