Dimitri the manager is a very nice and caring person. I had a top floor room with great ocean & mountain view. I can watch the sun rise from my bed. The kitchenette has ocean view too, and the balcony with full bench! If I didn’t have other plans, I would stay longer.

Stunning views
We had booked a Mountain View room, but were given a Sea View room, which was brilliant. The hotel was located well for us, visiting friends in Lefkada, and was a good location for visiting the rest of the island also. We were very glad to have a car though - not sure how efficient or reliable the bus service is! The room was serviced regularly, and whilst basic, it was perfect for our holiday. Dimitri and Olga were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved our Greek Holiday, and would love to return to the Island and would happily stay here again.

good location, wonderful view
We booked online after arriving in Greece, we had some business in Nidri so wanted something close but not too close and Megamenou seemed just right at a great price. We booked a room with sea view for one night, but stayed two, it was wonderful, looking right across to the mainland. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely little handmade touches, nice TV (good in winter) air con/heating, small kitchenette, very clean with a good sized bathroom and loads of hot water. The loo didn't flush, but we told Dimitri on our way out so he got a plumber in and it had been fixed when we got back - instant! We were asked what we would like for breakfast when we arrived and Dimitri brought it to our room because we were there in January, but it would normally be served on the terrace looking out to sea. It included the best oranges I have had, picked from their garden. Dimitri and Olga were so friendly, I don't think anything would have been too much trouble had we asked. We enjoyed it in January, so it would be lovely in summer. We didn't walk down to the beach so don't know what it is like, but it looked quite a way down through the trees, which is why it has such wonderful views.

we went there to find out the room wasn't booked. the owner said he had "forgotten" about the offer. he didn't even apologise or help us find any other acommodation. we losto a lot of time trying to find a room.

Great choice
I am very pleased by the choice I made by choosing this accommodation. The views are fantastic, it is a pretty quiet place, the owner (Dimitri) was really nice and he payed a lot of attention to our needs.

The warm and friendly attitude of the owners Olga and Dimitri made our stay at the hotel very pleasnt. Also the sea views from the balcony were incredible. The minuses of our stay were: - the noise coming from the road, especially during the night; - quite hard matress of the bed; - the lack of a handle to hang out the shower; - the little beach of the hotel is not close and not comfortable. All the rest was very good. Thanks!

TRAVELLED THE WORLD + BEST PLACE I EVER STAYED
I have literally travelled all over the world and stayed in hotels from low to high. Villa Magemenou was one of the best, if not THE best. First, upon our arrival, we were upgraded at no additional cost, to the penthouse with 4 rooms and a gorgeous sea view from all angles. Our 2 month infant got sick that evening and both Olga and Dimitris were very helpful with hospital information, advice and even helping us to order food to be delivered to out room since we would not get out that night. They have a 3 year old daughter too so they knew what they were talking about. Both of them speak English, which was helpful for my fiancée since he doesn't speak Greek. We had breakfast delivered to our room free of charge- which included fresh baked cake and organic yogurt (honoring local Greek products to assist in the crisis situation). They have their own attached beach that we visited on one day- and we were totally secluded. it was gorgeous water too. Air conditioning, room cleanliness, comfort of bed, internet all worked great. We added on an extra day at the end and we were tempted to stay another extra day bit we HAD to return to Athens to say goodbye to some of my family. The owners will be there for the next 10 years and we plan to return for sure, sooner than later. :0

purtroppo la struttura avrebbe grandi possibilità in quanto si trova in una posizione magnifica a picco sul mare ma le camere sono vecchie sporche e obsolete. Le foto non corrispondo alla realtà.

Tesis merkeze araba ile bir kaç dakika uzaklıkta. Manzarası mükemmel. Dimitri hem tesise girişte hem de ada ile ilgili sorularımızı cevaplamada bize çok yardımcı oldu. Ayrıca eşim hamile olduğu için bize jest yaparak oda rezervasyonumuz sağ manzaralı olmasına rağmen ücret talep etmeden deniz manzaralı güzel bir oda verdi. Odalar büyük ve temizdi. Yatakları biraz küçüktü ama onun dışında hiç bir kötü taradı yoktu. Biz çok memnun kaldık. Dimitri sana teşekkür ederiz iyi niyetin için.

splendida la posizione a picco sul mare, e la tranquillità che si respira. gentilissimo il gestore, che fa di tutto per farti sentire a casa. la struttura, di aspetto gradevole, necessita di interventi migliorativi e di manutenzione. un peccato percorrere la stradina privata che porta alla splendida porzione di mare sotto casa e vedere ovunque, sporco e incuria. gli alloggi, sono puliti, ma molto spogli e privi quasi del necessario, soprattutto in cucina e in bagno. dovrebbero essere adottate anche delle ovvie norme di sicurezza, evitando ad esempio i rudimentali collegamenti elettrici a penzoloni sui balconi. ritengo che l'importo pagato è un po eccessivo per quello che offre.

Très joli cadre avec un accès à une plage privée ! Une grande terrasse extérieure avec vue su la mer. La chambre est de taille normale, propre et équipée d'une climatisation et d'une petite terrasse Arrêt de bus proche de l'hôtel mais pas de commerce et très peu de restaurants accessibles à pied Propriétaire très agréable qui nous a fourni de l'eau et les horaires de bus

Il gestore di Villa Magemenou alle 10 di sera (nonostante lo avessimo chiamato nel pomeriggio prima di atterrare a preveza) mentre stavamo cercando la struttura ci ha inviato un sms con il quale ci ha informati che non c'era piu disponibilita presso la villa e che ci dovevamo recare presso un'altra struttura ben distante da Nikiana (summer bed nidry) a suo parere nuova di zecca ma in realtà era di un livello nettamente inferiore da quella che avevamo prenotato. la struttura era sita su una strada interna (non sul mare) molto trafficata, dotata di un parcheggio insufficiente per tutti, camere dotate di minuscoli e insufficienti angoli cottura,bagni in miniatura e pulizia pessima. Secondi i pareri di altri turisti questa non era la prima volta che accadeva.

Τέλεια Θέα!!!
Τέλεια εξυπηρέτηση! Φοβερή Θέα προς τη Θάλλασα! Μεγάλο άνετο και καθαρό δωμάτιο! Ζεσταινόταν καλά για την εποχή που πήγα. Ένα μικρό θεματάκι με την υγρασία όπως τα περισσότερα ξενοδοχεία στα νησιά! Κρίμα που έκατσα μόνο για μία μέρα. Αυτό που θα μου μείνει είναι η Θέα στη θάλασσα και η φιλοξενεία και εξυπηρέτηση των ιδιοκτητών. Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάω και ελπίζω να είναι καλοκαιρινό μήνα!

Schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht
Ich verbrachte 3 Nächte in der Villa Magemenou und war völlig zufrieden mit meiner Wahl, welche ich ausschließlich durch den günstigen Preis traf. Die Eigentümer waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und sprachen ein excellentes Englisch sodaß die Kommunikation keine Schwierigkeiten bereitete. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer Hauptstraßen und ist daher etwas lauter, allerdings war zu meiner Reisezeit, Ende September, nachts kaum Verkehr. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschänkt empfehlen, allerdings ist ein Fahrzeug ratsam, um die Insel zu erforschen.

Ambiente amichevole in una cornice stupenda
La posizione è perfetta per chi ha voglia di stare un po' in disparte dal caos, a soli 4 km da Nydri dove si trovano ristoranti e bar. I gestori sono molto disponibili e la villa è veramente carina. Le stanze vengono pulite ogni giorno e la nostra era anche dotata di mini cucina (pentole e padelle sono poche ma come dice il gestore chiedi e ti sarà dato!). La sorpresa più bella è la scalinata che privatamente ti porta fino ad una minuscola caletta a disposizione degli ospiti della Villa sempre deserta e con acqua cristallina. Ci tornerei assolutamente!

Posizione meravigliosa!!!!!
Sono appena tornato da questa splendida isola e devo dire che è molto diversa dalla gran parte delle altre isole greche. E' ancora un po selvaggia e forse è questo il suo fascino. L'hotel si trova in una posizione meravigliosa, quasi a picco sul mare. E' chiaro che si tratta di un due stelle (è la mia prima esperienza in questa categoria), ma la stanza è confortevole e se non si hanno troppe pretese ci si sta bene. Tutto è migliorabile, per esempio manca il phon in camera, ma in questo periodo non se ne sente la mancanza. Abbiamo usufruito della colazione per una sola mattina, ma era buona e il prezzo di € 5 assolutamente onesto. I proprietari Olga e Dimitri sono due persone meravigliose che si mettono a completa disposizione e sempre prodighi a dare consigli su dove mangiare, dove andare e altro. Per visitare l'isola è necessario avere un mezzo di locomozione. Noi ci siamo mossi con uno scooter 150cc (con un 50cc in due è difficile arrivare in certi posti) e devo dire che è andata molto bene. Per l'affitto vi consiglio la "Moto Renter" in Nidri, il proprietario Anifantis Spiros è una persona molto simpatica, onesta e comprende anche la lingua italiana. Se volete potete fare la crociera con la "Odisseia Cruise" da Nidri e vi assicuro che non ve ne pentirete (c'è anche il pranzo su una splendida spiaggetta).

Skaista vieta neskatoties uz to, ka ceļa malā. No saimnieka prasītos vairāk piedomāt pie apkārtnes sakopšanas. Līdz veikalam, pludmalei, vakariņās ir jābrauc ar auto, nav aizejamā attālumā. Bet cenas un komforta līmenis ir atbilstošs, pat vairāk! ;) Wonderful views from villa. Good place for staying for some nights and travel around Lefkada. If you want to eat, drink or buy something, to swim... you should take a car, because those places are not so close for going there by foot. Good idea for breakfast, very personally, I liked it very much. The yard of villa needed cleaning, the place is beautiful, but interferes with the dry leaves in pots, plastic and metal pieces in the grass ... that probably do not like the turtles living in there. ;) price and comfort level are appropriate, good! ;)

Dejlig hotel ved kysten mellem Lefkas by og Sivota
Hotellet ejes af en sød og hjælpsom familie, der gør alt hvad de kan for at få en til at føle sig velkommen. Bestillinger af diverse modtages gerne. Udsigten er skøn og der er gode parkeringsmuligheder. Ligger meget god afstand fra nattelivet i Nidri og shopping i Lefkas by.

Gradevolissimo B&B affacciato sul mare
Il soggiorno a Nikiana, è stato uno dei più belli tra quelli che io ricordi. Il mare cristallino, i colori del paesaggio, l'ospitalità della gente dei posti che abbiamo visitato(Nikiana,Nidrì, Ligia, Lefkada,Vassiliki,Capo Lefkatas, Katisma Beach...)sono impareggiabili. Dimitri e Olga, hanno contribuito a rendere questa vacanza, indimenticabile:la loro cortesia, gentilezza, discrezione e disponibilità, ci hanno conquistati.Per una vacanza rilassante,a contatto con la natura,niente di meglio!Grazie!

PAS CONFORME A A LA REALITE
Nous avons choisi cet endroit notamment pour les avis positifs lus sur votre site concernant l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes, Olga et Dimitri .Lors de notre arrivée ,nous avons été accueilli "sans plus" , on nous a expliqué que le petit déjeuner n'était pas un buffet mais qu'on nous l'apportait chaque matin à une heure bien précise et que celui ci changeait tous les jours.Durant les 10 jours de notre séjour , le petit déjeuner fut le même:pain+ beurre+fromage blanc et miel en trés petite quantité,l'attente a pris parfois 1 heure(contrariant lorsque vous avez prévu une excursion) alors que les appartements n'étaient pas tous complets. L'appartement était certes spacieux, propre et avec une trés belle vue (nous avions pris le + grand et le + cher)mais la literie était inconfortable, l'eau chaude inexistante 1 jour sur 2 ,ponctuée de coupures régulières , nous avons du remplir des bouteilles pour pallier à ce problème. Quant à la sympathie des hôtes , nous ne l'avons pas vraiment ressentie, rien ne nous a été proposé ,mais surtout l'accueil n'était pas le même selon les nationalités, les pays de l'est et les italiens ayant la nette préférence en ces lieux . Je précise que c'est la 4 eme fois que nous allons sur des iles grecques et que c'est hélas la 1 ere fois que nous en revenons insatisfaits.De plus l'endroit n'est pas des + calme ,celui ci étant situé le long d'une route trés empruntée , le bruit de la circulation est pénible sur la terrasse.l

Hotellia sai etsiä vähän aikaa, samoin hotellin respaa. Sitä kun ei ollut mitenkään merkattu. Mutta vastaanotto oli sydämellisen lämmin ja meiltä kyseltiin tarkkaan, millaisen aamupalan haluamme. Aamupala tuotiin huoneen edustalla olevalle pöydälle, siinä oli ihana pistellä aamupalaa ja katsella merelle. Emäntä käytti paikallisia raaka-aineita niin paljon kuin pystyi, ja leipoi itse parina päivänä mukaan kakkua. Sijainti tien varrella ei haitannut mitenkään, koska meren puoleiselle sivulle ei kuulunut lainkaan liikenteen äänet. Ilahduimme, kun kuulimme että hotellilla on oma ranta -kävimme heti samana iltana siellä. Kyllä nauratti, kun huomasimme sen olevan muutaman metrin pituinen, noin metri selän takana kohoavasta rinteestä vesirajaan ja "hiekka" oli noin parin sentin läpimittaista pyöreähköä kiveä :-) Hotellihuone oli aika karu, sänky 120cm leveä (kaksi isoa ihmistä siinä oli liikaa, pyysimme ja saimme lisävuoteen ilman lisämaksua).

Πανω απ' ολα με εντυποσιασε ο επαγγελματισμός του ξενοδόχου. Μακάρι να ήταν ετσι η πλειοψηφία στην Ελλάδα. Θα είχαμε πολλούς επισκέπτες.

als wir das hotel endlich gefunden hatten - leider keine vollständige adresse auf der buchungsbestätigung - wurden wir von dimitri, dem besitzer sehr nett empfangen. die lage des hotels ist doch sehr ruhig, obwohl es an der strasse liegt. der weg durch die natur zum kleinen aber feinen privatstrand ist zwar etwas länger, aber wirlich idyllisch. das personal war sehr bemüht, unser frühstück bekamen wir aufs zimmer serviert, weil erst sehr wenige gäste da waren. da für uns das frühstück eine hauptmahlzeit ist, war es aber zu wenig für uns. was aber ab dem zweiten tag kein problem darstellte, da die kleine küche mit dem notwendigsten ausgestattet ist und wir somit noch selber was dazukochen konnten. von dimitri bekamen wir sehr wertvolle tipps von guten lokalen und ausflugszielen in der umgebung. wir können diese unterkunft guten gewissens weiterempfehlen!

Καταπληκτική σχέση τιμής/με παρεχόμενες υπηρεσίες
Καθαρό & μεγάλο Δωμάτιο. Στην τιμή, η οποία ήταν χαμηλή, περιλαμβάνονταν και το πρωινό το οποίο μάλιστα μας το πρόσφεραν και στο δωμάτιο την ώρα που θέλαμε !!! Το μπαλκόνι πέρα από το βουνό είχε θέα και στην θάλλασα !!!
